I am very happy for ZZH and amazed at his ability to recreate himself as a singer. He is very courageous and that's to be admired. He has the raw talent and the drive to succeed: these are the earmarks of a real star. I hope 2024 brings him much happiness and success! (I agree with Marcus regarding the irony of ZZH's drrama being aired in Japan.)

I don't care how long ago the Castle in the Time was filmed, I am so excited to see it. Two of my favorite actors in a drama together. So looking forward to it. Why do all the actors/artists leave early? I noticed that when I saw posts about the last award show. It gets really empty toward the end. Do the artists not stay to support each other? It was so empty around where ZLS was sitting when she got one of her awards. I just find it so weird, especially after growing up watching the Oscars/Emmys/Golden Globes etc., where the seats are always filled the entire time. They even use seat fillers if necessary. Currently not watching anything. Not sure if I will continue Journey to Love after hearing rumors of the ending (people are now nicknaming it *****sort of spoiler*** Journey to Death)

It was tough to find her name....Loved that all the actors sang along with her. Surprising how empty all the seats were around Xu Kai when he got up to receive his final award, actors get their awards and then run out....I know they are all very busy and there are so many award ceremonies...loved seeing all the stars and listening to and watching all the good music/singers at the show, Loved that the theme song from Untamed was played at intro...not forgotten...

I say NO to DD's blonde hair. It makes him look like a BTS boy. lol But a huge CONGRATS to all the winners. Lusi was too cute forgetting her coat, which made wearing her gorgeous dress rather futile, eh? lol Congrats to our Wonderland couple, but they deserved so much more than "Charming" in my honest opinion. That was one of the shining power dramas of 2023. I'm watching "South Sea Tomb", which congrats to the couple for their win, but I am so not a fan of her "wings". Something airy and flowy and black would have been so much better. This drama has me wondering if I will continue to be interested in it due to it being so completely different than a normal drama. But that is why I remain interested. Plus it's really short. Another one that is interesting so far is "The Hope". Ruo Yun''s character, once again, is this off-beat, quirky guy and his way of attracting students for his class. I'm hoping I can remain interested because I like him. I will start "Happy Life" today to see what the hubbub is about. Happy days to all the Dramalanders, hope the preparations for Christmas are fun and exciting to all of you. Marcus thanks for another interesting update. I highly appreciate that your aim is to present us with meaningful content rather than just speculative gossip! Your remarks hint that sometimes there is more to the instances or events reported that meets the eye. To a European the concept of a "cancelled" artist especially singers & actors is an absurd notion. History has shown that few artists (exponents of all the art forms .. song, dance, acting .. are living saints. Being flesh & blood persons, they err. The artist's product however is separate from the artist himself. Except in very few instances, the human weaknesses of the artist do devaluate their creations. If one had to apply the same criteria to other professionals, no one would drive out of business a restaurant where the chef patron might not be the best of husbands or father. Presumably this is unlikely to happen as customers are either ignorant of the facts and/or apply two weights, two measures as to the moral aspect of eating (& paying for the chef's creations).
