Is it hard to fish for big tench in big waters (60 acre) ? How deep will tench comfortably feed in?

Another good video; some good advise chaps and a great advert for Reading and District. Always interesting to see how other anglers tie their rigs ( albeit as Andy clearly states location is the absolute key as no rig or bait will catch what’s not there!). Out of curiosity, am I correct in interpreting that the boom section on the helicopter stuff link connects to the feeder/main line with a double ( surgeons) loop rather than a ring or a swivel? - if so how do you ensure it’s not too big to drop down to the top of the feeder. The rig is obviously working but why does it have such a big bit of foam . I have never seen a rig with that amount of foam. Especially on a Heli rig

put enough fish in a pond & a kid with a stick will catch them
