A wildly romantic but sometimes challenging coastal hike on the “WILD” side of Tenerife near Puerto de la Cruz to the beautiful coastal path near San Juan de La Rambla to Las Aguas. We expected a simple coastal walk and almost abandoned the tour - until we asked the local fisherman for advice. The hike is a lot of fun - but should be enjoyed with caution at times. If you feel like it - come along!

Route description:
At Puerto de la Cruz it goes from Playa de Socorro to Las Aguas. What is described in the hiking guide as a “family-friendly” hike quickly turns out to be an exciting and not so easy short tour. The first two kilometers go over the rocky, stony Atlantic coast (be careful of falling rocks) before you reach the beautiful coastal path “Sendero Las Aguas - La Rambla”. The tour can be returned the same way or by bus back to El Socorro.
