We have visited and stayed here six times -it’s a fabulous hotel with wonderful staff and not atall stuck -up !The staff do all they can to make your holiday wonderful!💫
A thing we have noticed with some of these 4 star hotels, most have a really impressive lobby. But maybe sometimes the hotel rooms, especially the standard rooms in these 4 stars, don't quite match the the impression you get from the lobby. The Tigotan is one that springs to mind.
I stayed in the Guayarmina princess in 1999 and saw the Bahia Princess being built to then. I have stayed at the Eldorado in Santiago (Los Gigantes) and whilst the hotel was fine the resort was very disappointing. No beach just massive rocks and the area is all very steep hills. so I always go back to Adeje and stay at the Bahia Princess . I have stayed there 3 times and the 4th got cancelled due to Covid.really love the hotel and Adeje
We’ve stayed there 3 times in the last few years it’s a lovely hotel food was superb. We haven’t stayed there since the revamp but did have a look around the prices have gone up quite a bit since the revamp. I believe it’s an adult hotel now but it wasn’t when we stayed there.😎
Stayed at Guayarmina in July, it is lovely and very clean. The only disappointment we had was our Seaview room. Try and get a higher floor as our window was level with the street, we saw a glimpse of the sea between the sports bar and pizza place. The location is good if you want to have the bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Thanks Kevin 👍 PS. We went with Tui
We going there in December second time we been to this hotel last year. Good time good memories and weather. Gym is extremely nice if you love workouts. Rooms and food as good as needed. We are looking forward to seeing Tenerife ones more but fingers crossed with this plan-demic restrictions.
Stayed there about 8 weeks ago the last time we were in tenerife...the food was one of the best weve had in any hotel....The only thing wrong with this hotel is the pool is freezing even the heated pool.is freezing...its a great hotel.
Hi Kevin, we stayed in the Guayarmina Princess 30 years ago it was a nice hotel but the first night our room must have been near some air conditioning because it was noisy and we couldn’t sleep so we got moved the next day but it was a nice hotel, the trouble with hotels they are always doing some activity around the pool so we prefer apartments now, it’s much quieter
We have stayed here twice beautiful hotel staff very friendly and the food is excellent only downside for us was the pool it’s absolutely freezing cold
The Jardines De Nivaria is probably the ace in the deck and that’s In Adeje. I’m sure they would take the Pepsi challenge against any of the del duque hotels. it’s a big achievement for the Tenerife authorities that we are having this debate in 2021, the government there has done a first class job of raising the standards all over the island and there is great choice for all kinds of budgets.
@@Best0fBritish . Yes I know, I lived there for 8 years. Costa Adeje means the coast of Adeje, it has several areas referenced to its beaches, playa del duque, playa Fanabe, playa torviscas, playa pinta etc. The hotel in question is on the borders of playa Fanabe and playa torviscas. Adeje is a Spanish town a few miles up in the hills which over looks costa Adeje.
Great video Kevin, we’ve booked to stay in the Guayarmina next October for our 50th wedding anniversary so really looking forward to experiencing it, never stayed in this area before can you recommend any good bars please, thanks Kevin.
We have stayed in both of the hotels there. Tbh, we preferred the Bahia but it needed updated when we were there. We were in Guamariner last year and the food was disappointing and cold. No cocktails by the pool until 6pm which I feel is stupid as its an Adult only hotel
It’s an impressive looking hotel, no doubt about it and the pool area is gorgeous, but it’s way too large and clinical for me. I like a smaller, more atmospheric hotel with character. I do love to see vlogs showing the interiors of various styles though so I can decide whether they’re for me or not. ☀️🏖
Tenerife is famous for its big hotels, it’s not really the type of place where a hotel group would choose to operate a smaller boutique style hotel that you would find around the Mediterranean or greek islands.
The pool is too large. You can't please everyone. You should be happy you can go on a holiday. Most people can't afford it or bed bond for the rest for their entire lives. Be grateful.. one day you will wish you could go on holiday.
@@billyrocky2974 if your reply is aimed at me, do not make presumptions about my life. Not that it’s any of your business, but I can’t get away on holidays these days for a number of reasons. Kindly keep your unwarranted resentful comments to yourself.
would like to but can only if I am staying there unless the hotels invite me in, check out the hotels playlist I have 4 or 5 room reviews of places, thanks
personally much prefer this look, id rather someone where i can go relax and enjoy a lovely stay without feeling like you have to leave the hotel from the second you wake up. maybe its a younger generation thing but to me going on holiday is about luxury and modern etc not whether a hotel has "character" or imo look old or "rough"
