Why they have there passports they have no evidence to keep them in the country if and it's a big if there involved there is an international warrant they can do
So Jay photographs himself having a cigarette on the doorstep of the Airbnb at X o’clock, having apparently been out to get/buy cigarettes’ then heads off to a bus stop which is literally across the road from the Airbnb only to find he has missed the bus, and instead of going back to the house he’s just come from to wait for the next bus, charge his phone and refill his water bottle he heads off on a 10 hour trek? No way. And no one of his ‘new friends’ offers a lift either. There’s no way this is a simple lost in the wilds story. The whole thing stinks. Lucy, Jay, the early departure from the rave, the immediate reporting of him as missing … it’s all completely off.
In the cold light of day it may feel more awkward to be around strangers you were happily chatting with whilst drunk. He wanted to get back to the resort and his friends. Too many people over analyse things and step way over the mark! What is wrong with people these days to think they have to bully and slander people without a shred of evidence! His mother is having to defend herself to the press because people are calling her Karen Matthews and bullying her for not being out searching when it's because she doesn't want to find her son in a state that haunts her for the rest of her life. Look at how evil the online mob were towards Nicola Bulley's family!
I’ve seen allegations online that he owes a lot of money. Maybe disappearing for a bit is his plan and maybe the go fund me pays back his debts. Maybe not who knows. I don’t know.
Unless local law enforcement say otherwise, then it’s believed Jay is seriously at risk and must be found. Questions can and will be asked afterwards, and any foul play will be looked at, including foul play involving Jay himself, the friends and/or other individuals. Until this happens we should be grateful that there are wonderful people like Paul who has volunteered his time and experience to help search. 😊
This is ridiculous. Why would he need to leave the footpath and start climbing through gorse. He's either dead/murdered or he's hiding and waiting for Go Fund Me money.
It's as simple as that if he was dehydrated and collapsed he would be on the road unless he wondered of to try find water from a plant which I would do
I can't shake this feeling that something is not right even seeing Jay's mum last night on here my gut instinct says something weird. I hope am wrong and God I hope they find him but time will tell x
When you are in searing heat you can get desperate to find some shade. He could have tripped and fell down any of those rocky banks and it's tricky territory with all the cacti etc for anyone to search.
Well done, Andrew. Your input into this tragic situation has been amazing. It’s good that somebody is keeping us up-to-date. The guy who has come over will be an extra pair of experienced eyes. I certainly think the Spanish people rescue teams et cetera are doing as much as they can I such hostile areas Having been up in that area last Christmas with an experienced mountain rescue guide call Ben we were only stargazing but. the information he gave us about the terrain brings it home to us how difficult it is for the search teams We can only hope and pray jay will be found safe and well
People should just donate money to little dillan fighting leukemia from a 4th relapse on a go fund me page. Plenty of innocent kids on their needing help!
i still don’t get why 2 men i got told they were older in their 40s i could be wrong? would invite a 19 year old back to their appartment that’s in middle of nowhere? and why did they book that place if they were attending the NRG festival in las americas. I’m guessing the spanish police asked this and we’re satisfied with their response. Just seems a bit of a strange place too rent.
If they are in their 40's they will be more inclined for nice Airbnb apartments in scenic places, people in their 40's don't tend to want to be in party zones or places full of drunk adolescents.
@@bigwideworld387 there’s scenic places then there’s an apartment in the middle of nowhere , and the fact they were attending NRG . Something doesn’t sit right with me on this and to ask a 19 year old back ? what are two 40 odd year olds wanting to do with bringing a 19 year old boy back home. It’s not right in my world don’t know about yours..
@@rossm_1993 if you find the listing for that apartment on Airbnb you'll find reviews from many other people that have rented that villa. No I'm not saying it's particularly normal him going back with those guys but it happens, they are drinking and having fun and they say do you wanna come back and see our ace villa and have a bit more fun! It happens when people are out drinking.
God, so steep and narrow, couldn't really tell how much until I'd seen this footage. Yes it needs someone to walk in the steps jay was last seen walking in, lower eyes to the ground and all. Good luck, take care and keep us updated
Why would he walk 11 hours back when theres a bus stop literally outside the house and was due in 2 hours? Why would you set off walking this far with no water? Why did he only have 1% battery, surely if walking back he would have charged his phone up at the house. Why have they not found a body after 6 days with search teams, helicopters, drones and dogs out looking? Why do the mum and dad not seem that upset? Why did the report him missing after an hour of him saying he was lost with no water in the mountains? If this was a straightforward missing person trying to walk home......he would be on a road or trekking path.
He did not know where he was, that's why not aware that it was 11 hour walk to his hotel. He did not think clearly because of lack of sleep and may be hangover, however those 2 guys should have made sure he is o'key going back.
@user-pi6xs6nh2w It was a 1 hour car drive from where he was. He knew he was miles away and would take forever to walk back. Even when youre hungover and had lack of sleep, as soon as you start walking your head clears. He had drugs in his system just by looking at videos of him at the event. I've had drugs in my system after a long/day night out, and you think a lot clearer than when on alcohol. The 2 guys he was with, yes of course try should of, but there's something not right with the story.
Thank you for the update Andrew and thank you keeping it factual. Others are full of conspiracy theories and it’s miss leading. You defo deserve a break now ❤️
i dont believe for 1 moment this young lad is up in the mountains now. he would of been found by now 6 days with rescue volunteers/police/ect) even with the size of the place. there is something not right here with that girl who called police.....even his mum not helping in search. there is much more to this and the tenerife police are gonna lose there sh!t when they find out whats going on.
There's a lot of territory up there that's difficult to search, if he's falling down those banks into cactuses it makes it difficult for anyone to search there because it's dangerous! Those mountains are not quick and easy to search and his body could be somewhere that people just can't reach. Maybe his mum isn't searching because she doesn't want to find him in a state that haunts her for the rest of her life.
how does that lucy know he left with 2 men to go to their apartment, when she left the club alone before 8am. how does she know where their apartment was. id get that lucy in on the person of interest list.
Apparently she went to the air bnb to confront the 2 men. So if transport was available to her/or if it was a taxi she got to masca...why didn't she tell him to wait and she would bring him back.
These are excellent vlogs, we really don’t realise how vast the area is that needs to be searched. We in the uk are not always seeing the wide area in pictures, so by doing what you are doing gives us a wider picture of what you have to cope with. We as a family think you are doing everything you can possibly do to contribute towards the search. 100% credit to you
You've done all you can do Andrew and good on you for doing what you have and continuing to do so with letting the cars out for free to to help with the search for Jay,but looking at the pathway Paul led you looks difficult enough to walk up in the daylight,i wouldn't even attempt it in the dark, but you know what I'm like with heights Andrew i wouldn't even attempt in the daylight either, and yes you definitely look knackered don't get over doing mate it even if you think you're fine 👍
He is not going to listen to that.. He is from UK and so is Jay so he will feel inclined to do what he can when he can. Andrew has given us all an insight on the area that we wud not have know from local news. I am glad he is taking time out to do this.. Andrew ur a star for doing this.. Appreciate u loads
That area is scary it's so foggy you can't see the direction at all. Nobody can survive being lost there especially with no water for days, unfortunately. Why do tourists go around unfamiliar places alone I can never understand and without spare phone batteries and water bottle. Sad to say this is a recovery search.
The area is not scary, it's a busy tourist attraction, you simply walk downhill. The apartment is on a busy road lined with houses, shops etc. Biggest danger are traffic because of all the turns. You would have to be on drugs to leave the road. They have thousands of tourists up there. No one gets lost
Imagine if a spaniard was lost in the Cairngorms, you think the Scottish police are going to accommodate a spanish mountain rescue guy just turning up independently? 🤷 Just st saying
Over 15,000 children killed in Gaza, over 10,000 civilians killed in Ukraine, just a few of the recent casualties of war. I know life is precious but it seems the world is upside down when so much fuss is made over one missing person but thousands are killed.
he was a drug mule in Tenerife, who was convicted of attacking a youngster with a machete back in england. he owes the Moroccans money from taking his own supply out there and has been taken. watch him show up once the 30k has been raised on the go fund me for the money he owes the drug gang.
Somebody rung you up at home and told you all this did they! Inventing a story out of nothing is just daft! Slander is a criminal offence and you may just get a knock on the door from the police if the people you are accusing report you!
@@smogmonster4077 all of it, where has this person sat in his armchair at home got this detailed and extraordinary story from? Why are the police happily ignoring this online stuff if it was remotely true.
Seems unlikey to me that he would leave the road....he too would have known about the tragic death of Michael Mosely and surely the danger would have registered with him. No ?
He’s only 19, probably doesn’t pay attention to stories in the news. Might have left the road thinking it would be a shortcut to another part of the road lower down instead of following the winding road the long way. May have thought it would be quicker not realising how bad the terrain is.
@@bigwideworld387 indeed however it takes a bit of courage to tackle those mountains ...he doesn't't strike me as the type . More likely to call an Uber !
@@JohnJones-mz2tc he hunts in packs of gorillas, he dosent go about it alone to seek vengence. Only brave in big numbers, cowardly attacking a single unarmed man in numbers.
Two black British men hiring a remote apartment in the mountains when they are only planning to attend a weekend rave party many miles away and fly out the next day, agree to pick up an off-his face white 19yr old party-goer they don't know in the early hours and drive him back to their apartment, for what reason? You don't have to be Columbo to start seeing red flags all over this. Lucy Law and Ophelia, the apartment owner, don't want their faces on camera. Lucy Law has already been out to the island multiple times this year, doing what exactly? This has got criminal enterprise written all over it. .
Are people just assuming that they flew out directly before the festival? They may have been out there all week. Somebody said these guys were in their 40's, people that age want nice Airbnbs in scenic places well away from the party scene.
This really shows the terrain and how easy a fall could be and you could lay unseen in the shrubbery …not unlike Dr M. People fall on our cliff paths in South Devon..trip on a rock ,loose balance and bingo they are on the cliff side . We went up there last year is remote and rocky… scary enough in a car on these narrow twisting roads.
This search has got everything now but a result. Im inclined to think jay is closer to that accommodation than we think . They have spread out very wide in my opinion. You start from the house and slowly work out in the possible direction. Yes he must have left the road or he'd have been seen by cars, wether he went up or down the road he'd be still on the bus route. Lucy said he had been walking half an hour, so he walked half an hour with low battery and rang her when it said 1 per cent? You'd ring before that im sure so the half hour could be exaggerated. I personally don't think this guy got very fsr before something happened to him.
Hold on but if he did the snapshot at 7.30 and he start walking after a while by 8.50 he was supposed to be only 8 km away and not where you ve spotted the phone call
I walk every morning 8km and it takes 1hr15 up hills and downhills kind of walk so the area to be serched was supposed to be 10km atound in circle from the bus stop forgetting the coffee shop lady
The poor lad would be on a high with the tital freedom on his first lads holiday and think he is invincible. Also he may not watch the news so may nit know about Michael Moseley.
If you are talking about the guys in the villa, they had a flight to catch that is expensive to miss, work to go back to, cars potentially in airport parking that gets big penalty fees if they don't collect them on time. The real world is different to the fantasies that people are coming up with online.
