Fished this same creek back in late October last year. Absolutely beautiful! Being from the east coast it was the best day of fishing I've ever experienced. Awesome footage!
Thanks for sharing your adventure! Sometimes that slight stain to the water is a tenkara fisherman's best friend as it allows one to sneak up just a little bit closer to the fish without spooking them, especially on a sunny day. Those were some pretty cutties!
Thanks so much for your support! I 100% agree! I think a slight tint to the water can be ideal for Tenkara fishing because you can get a lot closer. It's not quite as picturesque, but I'm okay with that.
Thanks for watching! I 100% agree. This place was hard to get to but beautiful! This is one thing I love about fishing is discovering all these amazing places.
Is this SE or SW Utah if you dont mind me asking? Im doing a drive to st george and scouting some water for a quick stop to stretch my legs and catch a couple trout. Also what are you doing here at 2:24? Is the fly still going down the water or is it hanging in one spot in the water? I couldnt tell when the strike was, i would have recast a long time before you did
Thanks so much for watching! That is in SW Utah. Not far out of your way down to St. George. That one was a surprise catch. I was letting it drift down under the opposite bank where there was an undercut. That's why it was drifting so long and my pole is so close to the water. I had to do that a few times because the water was dirty.
