Oni got big. Nice looking creek; that last brown was a beauty.

Thanks Michael. Oni is a solid 56 pounds now. He’s a great fishing and hunting buddy. I caught a couple other nice browns that day as well…part 2 and with the Oni honryu 395.

@uneautrepeche the rod is 4m and the line is the same length as the rod plus tippet. I tie my own flies but you may be able to find them online. They are call “Pay Czech” nymphs.

What line name and length did you use with the TB40? Tippet name and length?

The line was a two-piece… 3.5 Oni and 3.0 green, but I don’t know the brand on the Green offhand. I usually just use Rio Tippet… 3 to 4 feet depending on the depth
