Maybe these places are haunted and the spirits want darkness. There always seems to be bird nests and insect nests everywhere you poor explorers go. I always enjoy your videos Grim. Love the door on that front of that home. I can just picture them living there with a big garden and canning precious food in all those jars...the sitting on that front porch. Great place!! We've been on vacation...so I'm fixing to go back and watch what I missed. Stay safe out there.

i didn’t feel anything bad in that house just old and falling apart. but lights do go off when there are spirits. just telling you they are there. but i didn’t feel anything bad or wrong. just u made me laugh 😂about the birds.

You seem much more stable you were than in your last video - you were extremely jittery and it was crazy. I was beginning to think that exploration wasn't for you. Wait until you come upon an abandoned house that is fully furnished - what they call a "time capsule", totally untouched or mostly untouched. Will you be ready for that or even dare to enter? Still, your "anybody home" count is another high for you at a whopping 8 in only 10+ minutes in! ...HELPFUL HINT: Other explorers usually check out the entire house for squatters, homeless, murderers, body-snatchers, etc first before they actually go in again and record. That might help you out! ...Recommended movie for you to watch is "The Birds", an Alfred Hitchcock classic! lol! The birds are coming... or as he says, "The Birds" IS coming!
Yeah I've been doing this for a few years now but have only recorded for a little over a year or so. I have a few places recorded that have everything left behind, those are my favorite. I don't go through everything before filming because I feel like that takes away from it. I like going in blind. Some of the other channels I see seem very staged, and some explorers have been caught leaving certain things in places and acting like they found them. So I don't do much of anything beforehand. And certain places give off a very odd feeling so you have to have your head on a swivel. I can't count how many times I've had to abandon a place because of dogs in rooms and whatnot. That's why I always stay armed. But I like people seeing a raw reaction other than something scripted.
I don't like it when explorers stage things either. That's another one of my pet peeves. If you'd rather us see you stressed and jittery when going in "blind" well, that's your choice - even though it can become distracting. Just don't give yourself a heart attack in there! @@grimstravels3416
I truly am sorry if things I do are distracting. I want everyone to enjoy my endeavors and dangers, so to speak. I really need my audience to witness exactly what I do immediately after finding somewhere. I wish I was making a living off of this, but if it meant staging something, it wouldn't be worth it.. I genuinely realize that I have shortcomings while filming, but it's the honest me. I'm simply defending it because I want you all to see real reactions and encounters that aren't pre-planned. Really, thank you for your persistent appearance on the channel, someone I have literally mentioned. You get what you get with me, and I hope you stay someone that accepts that. Again, I hope to get better and better over time, as I'm not used to doing things recorded. But now that I'm "that guy", I accept the responsibility of putting out what my people expect of me.
