It’s Cosmic … Tennessee has a voodoo over Kentucky. Kentucky has a voodoo over Florida. Florida has a voodoo over Tennessee. By “voodoo,” I simply mean ALL THE THINGS that go against (or FOR, depending on which side you’re on) - - doinked kicks; booth-reviews; clock issues. All that sort of thing. Defense last 3 games is giving up 41 points per game. Brad White's unit is not living to the pre season expectations against stiffer competition.

We need a high octane defense! This vanilla defense is terrible.we were supposed to have one of the best D lines in the conference. They just don’t get much pressure on QB’s, playing soft zone and our DB’s playing 10 yards off receivers! I thought White was better than he’s shown!

Did you actually think wed beat Tennessee? I woke up and went to work on my truck bc i had 0 confidence of a win. Tennessee was in control the hole time. We had one chance down 2 and we shit the bed. The defense was horrible. Our problem is style of play were not good enough to run such a slow style. Were not efficient against good competition let along elite level competitions.

I was pleasantly surprised with the passing game, as well as the discipline of not 10 + penalties. I knew Tennessee would bring the heat, but Leary and the offensive line really did a great job of getting the ball down the field, and not trying to hit the long ball and taking what was given. Brad White's defense again has been a huge disappointment. This does confuse me a bit. So much talk about this defense being the best that Brad White has had since he's been here at the beginning of the season. Minus D. Walker because he is a stud, although he did let the running back slip out once this game. Against good competition they have been highly disappointing. There is a huge problem against any passing offense with Brad White's play calling. They need to address this issue. If it's not stuff, the run their defense has stunk. I really thought T. Wallace was going to be the difference this season, but offenses are just making them pay with his pressure up the middle by collapsing the line together so he has no lane then its 10 on 11 because he's just standing behind the defensive line maybe trying to go around and it's to late at that point. Offense did get better. It sure would look impressive if UK could get everything going. The potential is there. Go Cats!

We caught a break for sure, but in no way that should’ve happened. Always a good game with the Cats, had a great time in Lexington with my KY friends. Had good convos with them too. Kentucky fans build their entire existence around 1 player who is amazing by Kentucky standards but average anywhere else, Benny Snell, Smoke, Will Levis, Leary before the season, Ray Davis for having 1 game against Florida. At the end of the day, Tennessee beat Kentucky in the trenches. Ran for 250+ yds and got held on every single play when Kentucky's QB dropped back to pass. If there would have been a holding call on even 30% of the snaps where there was holding, UT wins this game by three TDs. Tennessee is simply better than Kentucky and that's it.
