Tennessee Police Interrupt Robbery in Progress 

I wish it could happen more often where the police show up before the robbers get away.

I don’t know what’s more pathetic….. Inside Edition calling that small framing hammer a sledgehammer or the way that guy was swinging it.

This brightened my day! Thuggery in all forms need to be dealt with! I hope they get some significant time.

It’s great to see a video of police on time to stop a robbery

Sad thing is, these criminals will be walking free within a week or two. Judge will probably just put them on probation and they’ll continue robbing until a robbery goes wrong and somebody dies.

I saw a crew do this in Lenox Square, Atlanta, GA thirty years ago. Brazen and bold as hell, no masks or disguises, broad daylight, dozens of people looking on. They actually got away.

We as a society need to ban together and when this stuff happens lay some hurt on these scumbags. The whole “don’t, the store has insurance” mindset needs to stop. Its getting to a boiling point now. If a group of male customers grabbed these clowns and started whooping their ass until police got there it will start to send a message.

For those that don't know Franklin Tn is a suburb South of Nashville. Out of ALL the stores that sell jewelry, these criminals decided JCPenney's jewelry is what they wanted, seriously?!? 🤔

Crime is at an all time high because the criminals dont spend anytime in jail

Make strong laws to keep these lazy rats behind bars under mandatory work to pay for the caused losses and their jail expenses! If human rights groups try to intervene in the mandatory jail-work, then ask them to pay for criminals' expenses.

so crazy I remembered something similar happened to Tampa Florida at one of our malls years ago and people went running from the mall and cops and the SWAT team surrounded the mall. It was after 9/11 and after a bunch of mass shootings and people just reported hearing loud things no one knew it was happening but apparently it was people with hammers or something similar smashing jewelry cases robbing a jewelry store right before Christmas. But imagine all those people hearing that noise and not knowing what was going on and running for their lives my daughter and I were on our way to the mall as it was happening so crazy

WOW! Police responded???? I live in Livermore California and they just hang out behind Lowes and talk...when a crime happens they just have you fill out a online report and never bother to check the crime scene.

Maybe LE should consider making instructional videos on how the public can best help in various scenarios. When to stand back, or when to help position themselves to help block or steer a fugitive a certain way. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just wonder if these criminals think a public crowd might work against them if it would act as a deterrent. I tend to think if more individuals knew how to help they would be more than willing.
