Even the Shops/Stores are stealing cause the Prices are so increased that you can't afford to pay so Shoplifters are doing what the Shops are doing .The Stores complain when they are stolen from.Stores high Prices are a form of theft too.

We got custody of my niece who we never knew about, because her mother and family had her in this type of shoplifting ring. Just disgusting. They were using her to steal too. It took a while to get that out of her.
It becomes an addiction...the stealing. I'd imagine if they were taught to do it by family they don't see it as something wrong to do. I've busted shoplifters, when I was a manager at a retail store, and they had a wallet full of money but got caught stealing cheap stuff. A lot of these people stealing do it for the high of adrenaline and because they've got away with it so many times they don't see the point in paying for it. Until they realize it comes with a high price of destroying their record as well as breaking any trust they had, now and in the future, with their jobs, coworkers, family and friends.
That's when they go into the fitting room with two of everything works for stores that require receipts. The first set is returned normally with the receipt while the second set (that is stuffed in street clothes) is sold to fencers like the gentleman with the store toward the end of the video. It is already implemented. This video is old as dirt. That alone tells u it was years ago. Way b4 cell phones. Now u need for the tag to still be on the clothing as well. You can't return if the tag is off of it. Even with a receipt.
I saw a group of guys about college age at the Walmart I shop at. They were in the meat section. They would pick up a package of some beef and out it over with the pork. I watched all of them do this till everything was all jumbled up and not where it was supposed to be. And put on the shelves upside down , sideways, etc. A lady near me who watched this looked at me in disgust and we both put everything back where it belonged. I’ve also noticed that there are single items on shelves throughout the store that don’t belong there, like a package of frozen fish in the cereal aisle. I used to put these things in my cart and put them back where they’re supposed to be but after watching this video, I might be better off leaving things alone for fear I might be targeted as a shoplifter. People are sick......
I’d be so ashamed and embarrassed to even think I could get away with something like this… I’m not sure what part of growing up did their parent’s miss to explain the importance of being productive one day and contributing to society. And then sadly, most parent’s did. But this is a grown woman who had to know the impact of what she was doing. She’ll move out of state and do it somewhere else. Because now that she ratted out her crew I doubt she’ll show face in Fla again.
Your right, and every person with a off shore bank account to avoid paying their share of taxes is a federal criminal and should be charged. Maybe then our country could pay its disabled veterans a living wage.

@Bink There's a reason for that! Walmart used to take anything back, no questions asked. THEN, the scam artists started bringing in crap they bought, and used, a year earlier. Or, stole receipts out of the trash and picked up a similar item in the store. THAT, my friend, is why they question you. I'm glad as hell that they do.

I used to have a small business in an upper scale area and I was shocked at the number of thiefs. Also, the number of people who would use my one bathroom and turn it into what looked liked a crime scene.

Not very smart and someone will get her. She done had too many people set up and with her face on camera setting them up. I work in retail. For a while we had "customers" who would steal prepaid gaming cards. All we could do was laugh because they apparently didn't know that those cards have to be paid for to activate them. Until they're paid for, they are worth around 1/3 of one penny. Finally, we had a woman who came in and stole the highest denomination amount for Xbox. She had torn out the whole fixture with around 50+ cards on it. The next day we found the whole fixture still attached to the cards - she dumped them in a movie bin when she brought them back. Word must've got around because we haven't had anybody steal them in a long while.

“Real shoppers” DONT pay for it. That’s a myth. Theft is automatically factored into retail insurance. Like it’s literally expected and covered and most of it is internal.

No receipt, no return. Period. You make that clear with lots of signage. Costco has it right. Every purchase you made is recorded on your file with your membership. If you actually return too much, they can chose to cancel your membership too.
These people were not held accountable at all. The only one was the store guy who owned the store was selling merchandise out of the store. Puffy should’ve been held accountable. They really wont though because the whole "snitches get stiches" thing only exists in your mind after you heard it from your favorite black guy. Everyone sings when their being pinched, you would too, and the buddies that shes telling on wont do anything because that would mean having courage/willing to go back to jail.
Store have policies for that, Wal mart for example will let you return up to three items a month or something like that with out a receipt. It's a piece of paper, its easy to lose and not everyone is a criminal, actually most people dont shoplift.
Worked in a dept store for 16+ yrs. It is a daily problem, epidemic. I was always wondering why our local police didn't set up a sub-station in our mall. One time, I was on the phone to 911 on our sidewalk, describing the thief, and her car, parked on the curb with the get-away driver, while she unloaded the buggy, ignoring my pleas to stop and come back in to curtail her charges. Instead, she opted for the hard way. She ended up ditching the driver at the Wal-mart across the street, running down the highway on the wrong side of the road while deputies were in pursuit, and going down a dead end dirt road where she was apprehended. Also lost her weave in the resisting arrest struggle. Wonder if she determined the value of her foolish decision was worth more than the retail of her 'take'.
Or she should of just admitted taking what was taken that day and not get the help turn everyone in. I would choose shoplifting over being a snitch any day. Shoplifting is a crime and if you get caught you can go to jail and have probation. Getting caught for snitching can be the death penalty and or mutilation. You choose.
One thing I will always try to instill in my child's head is DO NOT STEAL. Because I stole a couple petty things like clothing when I was younger thought I was cool I got away with it until I got caught! It was humiliating and I never stole anything again.

I had to pay for the work keys, due to a weekend I had to pay more than double for a locksmiths. 7 years ago, a day before my daughters 1st birthday a neighbour broke in and robbed my home. I have no sympathy for these theives in this film or who robbed me. You are missing my point. There is "legal" robbery happening and not reported.

I live in the UK Manchester area.I use to work in a charity shop and The area I worked in was known for Shop lifting and that was something that really really annoyed me those who shoplifted have nothing better to do.I worked on the til quite a bit But few of the staff was not keeping an eye on the shop floor and that really annoyed me.
