Don't know what it was, but when we played Bama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, we would lose all fundamentals. Forget trying to win or score points. @@wildestcowboy2668 imo i don't think we will beat Bama, i think we still lack depth on our defense to consistently compete with the best (especially in our secondary) which is why i'd be perfectly happy with a loss as long as we can keep it close next week, i feel like that will be very good progress but let's be real we are still a few years away from a Natty i just hope our fans don't set too high of expectations then end up getting let down and turning on Huepel after we fail to meet those said expectations.

@@ds--pu1tv That's the problem here, I played in neyland stadium and I was division 1 until I got hurt. So my opinion counts, Saban ran the table his 2nd yr at bama and huepel is a better coach. Let's face it Saban said it on the plane with their AD (don't know his name) he got the best recruiter ever, can't stand bama but even I know bear was better. @@damonbigsbyschannel7948 we played 3 top 25 ranked teams this year and won. We never said we were this or that. I seriously hate bama for the trash talking you guys do. To win in this league is hard. We still aren't loaded on defense and we are ranked 6th in stopping the run. Our team was depleted because of Pruitt. Vol offense is way more fun than Bill Obrien's offense. After what we've seen in past years, it's a blast to watch. You say you can beat us and we ain't nothing? Ok. You're about to get your chance.

Tennessee defense is not that good, LSU offense is just that bad. Yall will end the regular season with 2 losses @Bama next week and Georgia. Don't get it twisted I would love for the Vols to beat Bams and Georgia. They may be some good games though.

The defense is definitely our weak link but at least we're getting consistent pressure on the qb. I thought 9-3 at the beginning of the season and I still believe that. But 10-2 isn't sounding terribly crazy anymore. This was a huge win and statement but we're still not at the level of Georgia or Bama. But the future looks bright for the first time in a long time.

He just beat a #7 ole miss with an unranked tigers team by shutting them out in the 2nd half and hangin 45 on them!! BK is 1-1 at lsu on top 10 games and both times playing with an unranked lsu team so I’d say he is out performing his expectations. If we also were rank top 10 it would be different to compare those head to head records!

If yall beat Bama the highest yall will jump is #4 or #5,Bama would go no lower than #3. Bama will always get benefit of the doubt. A Bama loss=just a hiccup but a Tennessee loss=not ready to compete for the trophy (in the eyes of the committee). Some will get what im saying while some wont.
