The negative media naratives about Djokovic actually make me like him more, because I can see they are BS. You are right Nadal and Federer say what ever suits their image best. Djokovic is the most honest and says what is truly right. Djoko was never my favorite, but by standing up to this vaccine nonsense, I respect him and like him so much more. In some way he is my favorite now. A real man.
Yes , me also and I was not his fan but live in Melbourne , I sat up on hearing morning news ‘ detained at airport , placed in detention centre , did not know we had one but that was the beginning o my advocacy my outspoken comments re the abuse , inhumane abuse pf a man who came to defend his title . It was brutal what they did to him I don’t know how he do not sue my country as I would have stood witness even it meant I would be ostracised as I did it because I have been bullied but this goes way too far and it is abhorrent bias , deplorable in tennis etiquette that French Open he booed walking on to play NAdal Since when. Do we do that but look at AO final and all is revealed . Danii Medvedex played a rambunctious footy like rude distractedly arena who booed him also , applauded double fault but blatant distraction on serve between serves , he had no chance of playing his best ! Bias I see now for AO to host the event that saw Nadal claim that 22 Slams ! I have no respect for AO or Tennis Australia , Craig Tilley as why did they allow medic access to ask players their opinion on another players Vusa Status is beyond unethical , defines bias and high school like bullying ! This must stop . It’s trashy tennis with no class ! Novak is an amazing human being who I would take a bullet for ! I
@@merrilynstanger7241 I 👍 with you 100%.I have never liked Roger Federer. He's a prima donna and very self-centered. He's good at the game no doubt about that except it's all about him only. Not a very nice person. While Nadal is annoying as well as a diva. His so called routine before he served and the routine after every point played is beyond annoyance. He took so long to serve and to dry himself ... he should strip himself down and then towered his whole body. This is just wasting time and putting off the opponents...He's so immature. And the media never commented about these quirky habits of his. Only one chair umpire did and Nadal asked ATP not to put that umpire on when he's playing. Again this was not reported in the media... But when it comes to Djokovic it's all a different story alle will be reported and more his name is dragged through the mud even when he wasn't involved e.g.toilet breaks. Now everybody knows the so called good guys like Federer and Nadal also took toilet breaks when they down a set or two...it's not only Djokovic. We are all human beings, we need toilet breaks. If it's wrong to do it then don't do it.. two wrongs don't make a right, man...ATP has a lot to answer for the year 2022. The liberal party of Australia got kicked out of the government for humiliating Djokovic during AO 2022. Nasty actions get nasty consequences. Good on you Djokovic just continue with your quest and move on ...leave it to karma to take care of it...
This is great video, everything that has been said is true. For years, the Western media has been harassing Djokovic. Australian Open 2022 is the culmination of collective madness in tennis.
Tennis is dirty without Djokovic. "They" can't handle that "little man from Serbia" is GOAT ! "They" are ready to lie,as we can see all from media..even BBC cut 1 part when Novak talk about players who join Australian Open with same medical exemption. Anyway... Novak Djokovic made history, and he will always be THE BEST OF ALL TIME❣ #StandWithNovak
@@mike_404 the only reason nadal has 21slams is because djokovic didnt play *tyranny-stralian closed.* Fun fact: Nadal said on a conference that he wishes Djokovic never existed. Just shows how much of a "gentleman" your spanish pornstar is.
@@mike_404 1st Novak didnt play 2nd Rafa prayed for Covid 3rd All GS are against Novak. 4th with all that issues, NOVAK shows the world who is he,and only his words are pure gold. - as I said.. even politician are involved in fckn SAGA 🤬 You are brainwashed.
@@mike_404 mate your brain is way too smaller to analysis the game of tennis. According to your theory, rafa 🇪🇸 would have defeated nole 🇷🇸 all because of med 🇷🇺 have won against nole 🇷🇸 So according to that. Novak 🇷🇸 is 27-23 up h2h against Roger 🇨🇭 But on the other hand Nick 🇦🇺 is 1-6 down h2h against Roger. But Nick 🇦🇺 is 2-0 up vs nole 🇷🇸. But again according to your rocket science here. Nole 🇷🇸 should have crushed Nick 🇦🇺 just because Nick 🇦🇺is 1-6 down against fed 🇨🇭 and novak 🇷🇸 is 27-23 up against Roger 🇨🇭 This is not how tennis work. Go and Get your homework done and get back with some solid points to argue ( without any offensive words being used) 😉
Your content is amazing! Thank you for raising your voice in support of Djokovic and highlighting the ways in which the media often downplays his achievements. As a fan of his, I completely agree with your views and appreciate your dedication to defending his reputation and giving him the credit he deserves. Keep up the great work, and thank you for being a voice for one of the greatest athletes of our time and shedding light on media's unfair treatment of him.
Novak used to be my least favorite big three by far. Seeing the media make up negative naratives about him has actually made me a fan of Novak. Australia's vaccine rules are rediculous. I respect Novak so much for not getting vaccinated AND for not doing a fake vaccine just so he can play (I know pro athletes who got fake-vaxed). Just want you to know, when some of us see BS media stories, it actually makes us like him more.
Novak does not just compete against his opponent, he competes against the ATP, against the crowd, against the media and against tennis tournament organizers and owners. And he still manages to be on his way to winning the most majors, masters etc…
Thank you for your honest video. Yes, I agree with you that Nadal and Federer are dishonest and always treated with special favor. Novak Djokovic is definitely the one with moral honesty and faith in God.
Excellent video. I've been saying for years the powerful Western economic interests controlling the sport have been doing everything possible to derail Djokovic's career.
Another well researched video - have been watching this Media/Corporate nonsense since Djokovic started winning with his first Grand Slam in 2008! Thank you so much for your commitment in bringing the blatant corruption to light so clearly!!
Djokovic is the only GOAT. He might not get a chance to play in grandslams from now on and Nadal will win more than 23 GS. But still Djokovic will be GOAT. He is not fake person. He is my inspiration. Always.
Great logical analysis. I am saying this not because I am a hardcore Nole fan but because you have broken each information into pieces and tested it on logical test. On personal note - Nadal and Federer are good player. They are not greatest players. Greatest player should be the one who fought against all odds and still won.
I have checked out all of your videos and my favourites are the dispassionate, statistical dismantling of the prevailing bs GOAT narratives. They are amazing. The media have now replaced Fed with Rafa as the GOAT, now that the former is for all intents purposes retired (and surpassed). As for this video, tennis is indeed rife with bias, double standards and hypocrisy where Djokovic is concerned. You mentioned talking about things like draws and scheduling in the future. I'm sure that information would take a long time to compile, but I for one await those with great interest. It's funny how Fed has played 200+ matches more than Novak, but Novak has more wins against top 10 players - and he has almost 50 more than Nadal. Anyway, once again, amazing stuff. I look forward to to your future work.
Your videos are amazing my friend. Djokovic is my inspiration. You tell the truth every single time! Novak is the tennis goat but he’s also the goat of life. Nadal is also a drugs cheat. His old dr went to jail for providing spainish cyclists with blood bags.
Djokovic is hugely respected in India, China, and the rest of the world. Novak is only bashed by Anglo-Saxone media We love Novak Djokovic despite what the corrupt media tell us
Patrick compared two 8 minute trolley breaks with Novak’s one 4 minute break? Fascinating symmetry. 16 minutes of toilet breaks is the same as 4 minutes.
Is this the same Tio Toni who was fined for illegal coaching ? Rafa played in 2015 in Rio against Fognini, and after the second set that he lost , he asked chair umpire Carlos Bernardes to go to the restroom. When Rafa came back, his shorts was inside out, so he asked the umpire again to go to the locker room and change.Bernardes told him that he will get time violation,Rafa was not happy.Rafa changed his shorts on the court with the towel around his waist, and later lost the match. After the match, Nadal was so furious that he requested from the officials that Bernardes does not work during his matches " for now".That ' s your Sportsmanship of the Year Award winner Rafael Nadal.
That’s just normal unfortunately; the crowd will always do everything in their power to rattle the player they want to lose. I once played a high school match in which my opponent’s coach, who was standing directly behind me, would shout towards my opponent as I was about to serve. I won the match in a third set tiebreak, and even though I didn’t play well throughout the match, I still consider that one of my most memorable wins.
All of them use the toilet break to break the opponent’s momentum. There is nothing wrong in that, it is strategic. It’s in within the rules. The problem is Nadal Can take several long breaks , but others can’t. Unfair.
It is shocking and saddens me... So, there is so much behind the screen and Novak is always projected wrongly. Honestly, nobody supports and appreciates an opponent player like him. Even if he loses, his handshakes are genuine and warmth with due respect to the opponent player . This is not the case with FEDAL. Novak is always humble and down to earth. Nobody entertains the crowd like him.. His authority over many languages is commendable. His support to low ranked players is impeccable. Yet, he is not loved that much... Time to change our perception about this sport's genuine gentleman NOVAK
Man your unbiased review is great. You are honest and set everything straight that you are a Nole fan and you don't hate the other two but get honest about them by bringing everything into the light for all to see.
Unfortunately, this will be censored and the few Nole haters that do come across this video will pretend like this entire video is made-up. Just the sad reality. 😢
For more than 10 years I was a big fan of Federer and I used to hate Djokovic, until one day I realize that him wasn't the monster that media say, he makes mistakes, he's only human, but he's a honest person.
Athough I'm not a tennis fan your analysis of the situation (that is not only true for tennis btw) is very impressive (also in other videos). Keep it up! I am convinced that the media will keep throwing stones at Djokovic, as he doesn't seem to have been corrupted and at the same time he has huge influence on the masses in a good way, as he stands strong in his beliefs. Not only a great player but a great personality as well.
Between games, while Nadal starts to get up off the bench, walk to the court and do all his usual ritual towel hanging, walking on certain lines and pull his ass pants and wiping his face sweat in certain ways and then eventually allow the opponent to serve, you can make a cup noodle and finish it or go to toilet for number 2.
Completely agree, there has always been a general negative reaction to Djokovic in both the Western media and crowds, and of course all the casual fans who think of things more in terms of a personality contest (the same idiotic way they think of political elections...), and while the argument that "it's just because people like Federer and Nadal more that they are against Djokovic" may have some truth to it, I think it's more of a partial truth that is used to cover up and not mention the rest of the truth, the big ugly elephant in the room, that Djokovic is from a nation that was bombed by NATO, is not an ally of the West, and as such has been itself unjustly and maliciously vilified in the Western corporate media (it should be called state media, because that is exactly how it functions, but that's the trick which makes their propaganda so effective, having people believe that they truly live in a "free society" and that their "free press" would never lie about anything for the benefit of the state, like they have been told over and over is how the media works in nations that are the enemies of the West/NATO... when it is clear to anyone truly paying attention that when it's time for a war of choice, or proxy war of choice, or coup against a rightfully elected leftist leader in a third world nation, the whole Western corporate media "free press" all sing the same tune, every time, no exceptions). And I guarantee, that is a large part of the psychological factors that make so many Western tennis fans and media take a negative view of Nole, despite him being the most consistently respectful, gentlemanly, and sportsmanlike out of all of the top players, despite the adversity and negativity he has constantly faced. But of course, this can never be spoken out loud. Even when he is the only one seriously trying to bring attention to how unfair the pay distribution is for lower ranked players, directly against his own self interest, he gets no positive recognition for it. And, as you say, absolutely, his deliberate refusal to play along with the corrupt establishment, to have nothing to do with it and just focus on doing his best, is absolutely a huge factor also, especially in how the media treats him. I remember Nadal being notorious for strange medical timeouts, and delay tactics when on return, but somehow he is getting the sportsmanship award all those times? What a joke.
Talk about faking injuries and toilet break. In the 2007 Wimbledon women final Marion Bartoli called for the trainer after losing the first set and was down a break in the second set. Venus then also called for a trainer after they finished with Bartoli. I think Venus knew that Bartoli was faking her injuries so Venus also got a trainer and let Bartoli wait. Venus won in straight sets
I totally agree with you. If Federer and Nadal get along so well despite their sportive rivalry, it is just because they represent the same business and share the same interests, which Nole doesn't do. The way the two "legends" have used the ATP for their own purpose (money, of course) is simply outrageous. That is why I support Djokovic, who moreover is the GOAT without a doubt. However I would like to draw your attention to one thing that you may not know and could make you reconsider the way Moratoglou spoke about Tsitsipas's toilet break, by suggesting that Nole did it first in 2021. At that time, Moratoglou was Tsitsipas's coach and could not do anything but defend him by any way, even if it meant to forget one or two facts. But you have to know that before that, Moratoglou has always been a big defender of Djokovic and has never missed an opportunity to say that, from his point of view, Nole was the best player of the three when everyone was at his peak level. And he still says it over and over on French TV (by the way, I am French, which allows me to hear him a lot). I look forward to watching your upcoming video about doping issues in tennis. Through the years I have made my opinion about certain Spaniard and would like to know if you share it !
Look they will still give fedal the sportsmanship award long after they both retire if only to erk the greatest tennis player in history jealousy makes people do weird and stupid things fedal is just jealous plain and simple
here wwe go: you missed the most important toalet break for AO 2022,when on the final against Medwedew after 2:0 low,he disappear to the toilet and came back completely reversed-no more mistakes, more concentration, more faster and precise ...all the signs he took a drug. And the most stupid question, who Medwedew could;ve think about was to ask him:"don't you ever get tired?" rfa is a cheater and a croock in this sport, kind of Armstrong in the ciclyng and never was checked for obviouce reasons 🤮
Federer's one wasn't to break the pattern of play or a form of psychological warfare like Nadal's many ones are though, it was to get the sun out of his own eyes, which isn't gamesmanship in the same way that Nadal's are.
For a big noletard like me (since before he even won a master1000) I guess it's incumbent on me to add some balance though I agree with the gist of the video. When he was younger Novak used to take many medical timeouts, he retired quite a bit and he used to bounce the ball far more before serves. In addition to that he had more outbursts on the court and he was clowning around trying to be liked. Trying trick shots, sv, dropshots when it was not on etc. etc. I have absolutely no problem with stating facts even if they make my fav' player look bad. In fact I was annoyed, angry and sad at tims as well. For me what's important though is that a lot of his behaviour came from weakness and self-doubt and after he worked on these issues he overcame some and improved his behaviour on others. He got fitter, he stopped eating gluten, he did mental training, he stopped clowning around that much, he did mental training, he stood up against crowds and the establisment and so on and so on. He continuously tried to overcome bad things and weaknesses. We all suck at things, we all are annoying at times, we all have weaknesses. Point is: do these bad traits come from a maliscious place? Was it that we came from nothing that gave us these challenges to overcome or are they a result of privilege? Do we even admit these faults or are we too blind and arrogant to see? Do we always get away with our bad stuff, are we shielded and pampered? Or do we have to face the music? These are some questions that I guess bring it back to the theme of the video. I'd rather have an authentic, imperfect fav' player trying to get better and helping his colleagues (especially lower ranked) than a fake, arrogant, pampered and spoon-fed media creation like Federer who's the next coming of Christ apparently even though he doesn't know how to share. This doesn't diminish Federer's skill, success and his good deeds. It's just not for me. He can hang out with Wintour and Gates. Fucck the establishment and the corrupt western press. That's not the real world for the majority of us on earth. We prefer real heroes and you can find them everywhere around you if you just look. For me that's nurses for example. Long hours, crazy schedule. Understaffed, undervalued, underfunded. Mentally and physically draining job. So many complex skills and so much knowledge required. Always under pressure from higher-ups such as the doctors who then get the credit. They do something actually important for society. Lets cheer for real heroes not media creations!
Gamesmanship is a part of tennis now and people should just learn to accept it. Every sport has a way to disrupt momentum. In soccer, goalies can waste time, in basketball, football, and volleyball, you can call timeouts, in hockey, you can waste time by continuously passing the ball to your defenseman, and in cricket, you can sledge, purposely bowl weird deliveries etc. etc. There is no sport where you can't disrupt the momentum of your opponent, and tennis is no different. Any player should be allowed to use timeouts in between sets. I don't understand why using the bathroom in between sets is such as problem. It's the only time in the match where you can. People delay using the bathroom so that they can use it at optimal times in all walks of life. Why are people mad at it in tennis? It's unfair that the media is only criticizing Djokovic for this, as if he is the only player who does this. They did the same old shenanigans to criticize him for racket smashing, his celebrations, his ball bouncing etc. He isn't the only player who uses rules that allow people to disrupt momentum to his advantage. In fact, I'd argue that EVERY player uses these rules to their advantage. As for the sportsmanship award, it seems that the method of awarding it is completely baseless. Federer and Nadal are just like most other tennis players, usually good sports with some unsportsmanlike moments. I don't know how they have been the only players to win the award for 18 years in a row now. This year, Nadal exhausted his bag of gamesmanship tricks against Shapovalov and called Sonego to the net to complain about his grunting(Nadal complaining about someone's grunting lmao). I'm not saying Nadal and Federer are bad sports, but what I'm saying is that they aren't so much better than all the other players that they deserve to have an 18-year monopoly over the rest of the tour. I'd like to see Djokovic receive one sportsmanship award before his career is done, as his outstanding sportsmanship always is purposely stuffed in the media's exclusion zone. If they are bent on not giving it to him, then maybe give it to some other lesser-ranked player with outstanding sportsmanship, such as Tiafoe, Thiem, Monfils, and Felix. But if Federer and Nadal constantly win this award, I just can't trust that it accurately displays sportsmanship. I'm sure that if Djokovic makes the ATP shortlist for the award, then the players will definitely vote for him.
Many players go to the toilet after loosing a set, which is nothing unsportsmanlike in my opinion. Only if you do it for almost half an hour like Nishikori did at the 2016 Olympics to win the bronz medal match against Rafa...
