La nouvelle édition de la Laver Cup, bébé de Roger Federer, débutera ce vendredi à Berlin. Pendant trois jours, la Team Europe coachée par Björn Borg et la Team World emmenée par John McEnroe, s'affronteront au travers de 12 rencontres, neuf en simple, trois en double. Les premières affiches ont été dévoilées ce jeudi, et elles sont alléchantes. Carlos Alcaraz et Alexander Zverev, les deux finalistes de Roland-Garros, partageront le court pour défier la bouillante paire américaine Frances Tiafoe / Ben Shelton. Le spectacle est garanti. En conférence de presse, Zverev a réagi à cette association avec "Carlitos".

Admired and appreciated Roger Federer as-doing v much for the tennis sport. The Laver Cup is one of the best events ever existed in the history of tennis. (my personal opinions) it’s not just the games played to win, but it’s the teamwork, spreading the good relationships among players. Such a beautiful thing to be witness. Thank you to all who have involved. I ❤ the Laver Cup.

It's supposed to be the best of Europe vs the best of World, but last 2 years Europe chose weak squads. This year Europe chose a much better team, but still no Djokovic or Sinner..
