I just purchased the game and having the same experience you are. I’m about 3/4 through the season and my 14 year old junior has won every tournament since I started the clay season. I just won the New York Open junior tournament where I beat the number one junior. I started out with the same settings you did for player I created. Financials also get broken due to a bug with the equipment supplier where you get over a million dollars for free. I even have a helipad now. Lol. Anyway devs are aware and working on these issues. I’m not sure how these bugs made it to final build when they could have been caught by an amateur tester. Still liking the game just needs a little tuning.
Never seen anyone so disappointed to win a tournament. Of course, I expect the as you move up the rankings and age groups things will get a lot more difficult
I think the balance of the game is bad currently, I have 2 saves right now, and in one of them, Bia Hadda had some stupid losses, but now she is currently in the quarterfinals against Angeline Kerber
Gamer is just as precocious as Tracy Austin or Martina Hingis. Get her technicals and physical up early they are the hardest later. Awesome series as always!
Wow, that's really unfortunate. I was tempted to purchase this game after both of your episodes on this, but seeing how unbalanced it currently is makes me have to think twice.
To get the real names, there's a database on the Steam Workshop. I pre-recorded the first couple episodes just before release, so I add it in for episode 3 which comes out tomorrow.
In tennis it's enough that the ball just barely touch the line to be in. What kind of bonus do you get for 20 tournements a season? Can't remember having read about that anywhere. Don't know if you have costumized the tactic, but I'm playing with offensive baseline play and quick sim seems balanced for me.
