I think hes back for good. This run at Monte Carlo really unlocked something, he sounds like he is on a mission, I hope Alcaraz wont break his dreams once more
I think we have to put into context that Tsitsipas has not played any elite returners in this tournament yet. Also, Zhang today made unforced errors on very easy balls. Tsitsipas is definitely playing great but today wasn’t really a contest. He felt no pressure or stress in this match, easy to play freely in these conditions. Zhang seemed nervous and not confident out there in the bigger stadium.
Seriously, if it hadn't been for a judge's mistake, Sinner would have won with him in Monte Carlo. I like Stefanos, but I don't like that he stresses so often that he won Monte Carlo.
it's like a home tournament for him, and he played really well. Sure, there was a bad call, and Sinner handled it like a pro, but it's not guaranteed he would have won even if the call was made correctly.
@@al1976-v7m he himself said in an interview that most likely he would have lost then! The difference would be too big for him to catch up with Jannik. And it's home tournament to half of top ten players.
Will you give it a fucking rest? It was Jannik Sinner's fault for not stopping the point & challenging. Anyways, Sinner was still one break up over Tsitsipas. Did Stef make Jannik lose his serve two more times? Sinner is not that good on clay & has a losing record vs Stefanos overall.
