Lonaj Gamer his neck is fucked up beyond all repair. He has kept himself in great physical shape but one wrong bump and his quality of life is in the shits.
Cm punk started the interview out of character. Stone cold came out in character, cm punk snapped in character... two true professionals. And honerable mention to jr, greatest commentator ever
@@TheEviliser No one knows what AEW is for the most part. You have to have cable to watch it, who actually has cable nowadays unless you live with your parents or are over 50. So few people are trying to find new wrestling, and why would they?
Jim Ross said on his podcast that they had a few points that they needed to make about the video game but with the exception of that, everything else was improvised on the spot by Punk and Austin. JR basically told creative that these two don't need a script, just let them talk - best decision they made.
Yes, for sure but Punk and Austin are not fit for this match, they're both not fast as before, and they're both do botches, Punk still got the chance to get back to his prime form especially because he's full timer, he's surely needs some time to get back, he would be the one who can handle the match and save it from botches
@John Doe real as fuck honestly u dont know wrestling not sure if punk is definitely desolation but Austin arrogant idiot here real as hell believe me read books
The first time I watched this video I never wanted it to end. Since then from time to time I'll come back and watch it a couple times in a row, doing my absolute best to the tears back from all the laughter
Only way these wrestlers you see now would have a chance of being successful and surviving in the Attitude Era is having very tough skin which some of you know what I mean.
its so amazing how has stone cold never dropped a beat, you would expect someone who hasn't done a legit promo in years even if improvised to be rusty but its like literally like he hasn't had a day off the job
Because once he unlocked the power of Stone Cold and built his legacy, it's his forever. He always said Stone Cold allowed him to unleash his true self, so as always, he's just being 100% real. Plus he's super competitive, and besides, what is it like Punk could actually legit rival Austin? Please.
+MrThomasbeamon 1. Stop creeping my channel out. 2. I don't want to make videos. 3. Stone cold spoke on a mic for years, so no wonder he hasn't lost it.
This game was so great and it was great to have the Attitude Era story AND CM Punk on the cover while he was in the height of his career. I miss this time in WWE.
@@ServusDeiSmithno one is saying he is absolute top guy .... He was 2nd biggest guy and that was top of his career..... There is nothing bad in 2nd biggest guy in this business at some point
@@hiddendagger7291he sold more shirts than cena at one point. Vince just didn’t want him as the face . He wanted cena the face because he brought in the kids
@@ServusDeiSmith He should have been in those main events, it was unfair and an actual shame that rivalries like Cena vs Kane and Cena vs Big Johnny were main eventing ppv, but maybe the idea of Punk being treated unfairly as a champion was all part of the storyline since then
2k14 is the best wrestling game atm better than 2k15 and 16 from what I can see of the new game, it's still missing so many features and 14 on the PS3 has way less glitches than 13
@@macleanlewis Yeah, I can't beleive that is real. CM Punk the best in the world is back to WWE again after almost 10 years. What a shocking moment in WWE!
Apparently there was going to be but Austin's health issues prevented it :( Just heard JR talk about it on a podcast. (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DJMpITh4nCQ.html if you're interested).
@@taylorselenafangirl6691 What. Nobody said he didn't? Austin has just always stated that Punk would be the guy he would have one more match with. Like, once Punk left in 2014, Austin stopped talking about having one more match. I know that before Austin had his match with Owens, Jim Ross said that Austin talked to him about it, that he wasn't enthusiastic about it, and that he didn't even know what he was going to do. It was also kind of last minute.
+Ben Tarr why? because they can cause concussions? so can ANYTHING else they do can punches and kicks not cause concussions? hitting someones head on the turnbuckle or guard railing? hitting them on a cement wall can NONE of that also cause concussions?
baselkran They’ve already seen that countless times, and it wouldn’t live up to the original, so why not give 2 once in a life time matches in 1 night?
10 years ago this heated interview between Punk and Austin was amazing. you can tell they really wanted to fight so bad man this still a dream match to me.
+Hoonozit: Nah he said in another interview that he really enjoyed the promo here and complimented Punk for it. He also said if he was still wrestling, he would love to feud with Punk because he is, as Austin says in that interview, an amazing wrestler and phenomenal on the mic. You can see the video if you search for "Steve Austin on Wanting to Face CM Punk if he Had a Final Run in WWE" by channel "WrestlingRambles89"
6:10 i think Steve genuinely loved that line by Punk. Lot of this seems like a shoot but also improvd. If it's not - well, just shows how good these 2 are - I'm marking tf out
+Ryan Ferrier I mean, that's for health reasons. He's still contracted with the WWE, an "employee" (since all wrestlers are technically contracted.) I do agree, though. Bring back JR and Punk. Too bad Punk never would (and I don't blame him.)
The awesome thing about this game (assuming I’m not miss remembering) was Paul Heyman fought for Phil to be the cover star of WWE 13. Put that into context with this awesome promotional video for the video game itself, holy crap. I enjoyed the game so much. I bought it on PS3 and 360, still have both copies too.
Marsalisbury He really is. My mom and I met him years ago when he was at a military base and up close he’s much bigger than he looks on tv and even when he was joking around with people, the tone of his voice just made him seem intimidating
@@8512124 I would've been glad to see him comeback and have a good match against CM Punk. Who wouldn't? It's just the chance of it being bad is not worth the risk. He could've came back to face The Rock too. That would've brought some people back to wrestling for sure
@@8512124 he could go out on his back putting over a younger wrestler and a wrestler who followed a similar patch. It would’ve been a GREAT story imo and won’t diminish his last match against the rock
@@joe.limbus When you have two guys that can bring out the best in each other in the squared circle, you won't have a bad match. That's what Steve and Rock did. That's why they had some of the best matches of all time.
Steve Austins tone and demeanor are such that even when paying you a compliment, you feel like you are being challenged or insulted. Dude is amazing. I can imagine him telling his kids what a good job they did. SUZIE, I WANT TO TELL YOU, YOU DID A DAMN GOOD JOB OUT THERE TODAY IN RIGHT FIELD. JUST PHENOMINAL. I REALLY JUST COULDN'T BE PROUDER OF YOUR ASS. NOW LOAD UP AND LETS GO GET SOME ICE CREAM.
I'm still like that with my kids in their late 20s because my dad was like that with me. Constructive criticism. And it's more like, You did a good goddamn job out there today, but them sticks you call legs better jump for that ball instead of standing there with them eyes closed tighter than a dolphin's ass praying it falls into your glove cause it's going to smack you in your pretty little face. My daughter eats it up that I treat her no different than I did her brothers. I'll say something half-serious and she'll just laugh it up and tell me she's just falling out my mouth. The boys had a hard time growing up though, but they survived. My grandchildren try to tell me it's child abuse and then I ask them are you able to lay down in comfortable bed, belly stuffed out like I've feed you a horse and are you still breathing after you've told me to fuck off. Then you aren't being abused kid. You're being asked to do chores and or being told you could do a better job. I don't care if you've made an A+ and getting your ass kissed. There's always room for improvement. I tried tell all the children I ever worked with what they were weak at and what they did well. I tried to tell the one's that felt socially neglected and didn't fit in that they could do something about. Now I see my 7 year old grandaughter being awarded C-Honor Roll Certificites because she refuses to pick up a book. And then she kepts the same free pizza from Pizza Hutt the kids who worked hard get.
Stone Cold came up in a time when you paid your dues. I’m feeling that is what he is getting at plus in a real fight bc of the background of Austin and football and the Sportatorium I really feel on sheer power alone Punk would be like wtf just hit me?
I think he had to work to keep a straight face from busting out laughing. They are both in character...but to look at the man and say that...id crack up and die laughing
Not really. But would love to see Triple H vs randy orton Stone cold vs cm punk The rock vs john cena Goldberg vs brock lesnar Chris jericho vs daniel bryan The undertaker vs roman reigns
Little bit of context, both Austin and punk were super pissed at the business at this time due to the rock and cena trilogy, they’re basically showing the business how to do a really good face vs face feud
@@armughankhan6077 he said it on some early broken skulls, lots of what’s and bull shits in that episode, don’t remember but it’s an old excerpt clip I saw. I can’t believe my phone gave me a notification to respond to a 5 month old comment but I’m down for non toxic comment convo any time, in particular I remember stone cold saying the cereal jokes were old within a week.
@@rockymcdonald1863 lol I just saw your comment and just didn't remember Austin having a bitter comment during that time. But hey, I must have missed out on it.. If you can do share that with me would love to hear that

People saying Punk wouldn't survive in the Attitude Era but heres the thing, we haven't even gotten to see Punks full potential. He's already the Best In The World within all of the PG Era restrictions, just imagine what Punk could do in the ring & on the mic if you were to take those restrictions away..
True ppl think it's the wrestlers fault when really it wwe fault All the wrestler even john cena said they wish they could go back to the smash mouth wrestling we all so love
This was a brilliant way to promote the game! And this interview segment holds up to this day, I still want to see this match actually happen. And for the title! Only one can dream.
Just watching this coming back to high school it's a video game old school attitude era/ smackdown! 1999 - 2001 reunited for wwe '13 ❤💙 Stone Cold style
