I wouldn't say he is the greatest needle mover of all time. But he is certainly in the top echolons of this sport, thats for sure. Hogan, Flair, Austin and Rock have drawn the same if not more than him. He definetly is the biggest draw i wrestling for about 5 years now - and at that point he has stopped wrestling for almost 5 lol. The buzz he creates is crazy huge. Nobody ignores him, they all feel and react to him. He has for all intends and purposes built a Cult of Personality. And im here for it.

Royal rumble January 26 2014 Is when this story started.

He made a huge name for himself in the Indies and ROH before going to WWE. In WWE at first he was an upper midcard guy. Won a few major titles but just for transitions. That all changed in 2011 when he was facing John Cena at Money in the Bank. Story was his contract was expiring at MitB and he was gonna win the WWE title from Cena and take it with him (his contract truly was expiring too). So on June 25th 2011 (I remember because I was there in Vegas) he attacked Cena at the end of Raw and walked up the ramp, sat down with his legs crossed, and gave one of the most iconic promos of all time. Many said it was his "Austin 3:16" moment and they were right. After that Punk was pretty much a made man in wrestling. He was the first star since Cena became the face of the WWE to out draw and out sell Cena in ratings and merch. He won the WWE title that year at Survivor Series (full circle?) And kept it from then all the way up to Royal Rumble 2013 where he lost it to the Rock. He then had a great match with Taker at WM 29, came back after that to have an outstanding feud with Heyman and his guys. Including Lesnar. Then in early 2014 he asked for time off because he was burned out and WWE fired him for being out for too long. I'm not taking Punk's side or WWE's. He had some grievances but Punk can be EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to work with. Having said that, WWE is ran by adults who constantly put aside their personal animosities in order to put on the best show possible. That's why he's back in WWE. AEW had leaders who refused to do that very thing.

Hey once again the more deserved comeback was Randy he worked his ass off to come back to the place he love after his injury. Punk have done nothing good for his return. He could comeback at Raw and Randy would have his moment. Randy is a future WWE Hall of Fame Legend he is the Legend Killer he is the Apex Predator, he started his way in the one of the Best Stables of All time EVOLUTION. Randy beat so much Legends when he started. What have Punk did in his way? He have good mic skills. Thats all he got. His wrestling skills in the AEW was terrible like shit. The only way WWE can make Punks comeback great is to take him to NXT and to help come over the new talented guys they work the ass off for get the Spotlight. So many talented guys like Ilya Dragunov, Trick Williams, Carmello Hayes, Bron Breaker, there are to many good workers. CM Punk would be a big help for NXT.

@@danielbergen6573 Yes, thank you. WWE bringing back Punk overshadowing Orton's return was kind of shocking to be honest. I get it, the show was in Chicago, and they wanted the huge pop etc. Then don't bring back Orton at the show, have Punk show up for the match or something. If this deal to bring him back only happened in the last week or so, sure I understand how it had to play out like this. But yeah, Orton was out over a year and worked his ass off to come back for the last 10 minutes or so of the match where his team won, then bam the internet explodes and has orgasms because Punk is back in WWE. Meh. However, I can almost promise you, Punk will not show up in NXT anytime soon. He's main roster until retirement (or he screws up backstage again, whichever comes first lol) and will likely be inserted into a program right away with Seth Rollins. Which seems obvious given the heat Rollins has been throwing at Punk on X lately and how he reacted last night when the cameras turned off.

Stone Cold is the same. He's Stone Cold and doesn't give a f*** either; going against the grain. The Rock - no words needed. Goosebumps every time. His charisma is crazy infectious. Total package. Wyatt's return - absolutely! I was so proud and happy for him. That was one of the best feel-good moments all year. I could watch that clip all day. And the Undertaker - no words needed. I loved his American Badass character the most, 'cause he didn't give a f*** either. Cody Rhodes' pop at WrestleMania was felt, too. That's a different situation, but it was so cool. Punk has that energy of Stone Cold and The American Badass. It does feel like acting or scripted - even if it is. He feels like a real person. Plus, I'm a guy who prefers to go against the grain.
