When you go camping I feel like I’m with you Tony and Bruce I enjoy coming in here in the creek run and hear the birds and look at the trees and beautiful sites it makes me content that makes me relax please never stop going camping because I love when you go camping thank you Tony and Bruce

From what I have seen with other RU-vidrs, the camping experts, You're the Man. You have got your stuff together when you're out. Thank you so very much for showing how it SHOULD BE DONE. Really needed this. It’s 105 F. It hasn’t rained in forever and we’re burning up with 100 F almost everyday since the beginning of June. The sound of rain, flowing water, and seeing someone wearing a coat is making this a more peaceful evening. Thank you, Tony and Bruce.

Also so excited when I see a new upload. To hear rain or river or creek and to watch happy Bruce, helps me totally relax!! I can almost smell the yummy food you cook, ah, wonderful!! Even if I am going through some health issues, I feel like I am there!!! Thanks SO much for taking us along!!!!

Tony and Brucey, I’ve been watching your videos lately and I want you to know you’ve inspired me to go camping again, and in the rain. Our church wanted to go on an annual overnight camping trip. After having seen you set up tarps to camp in the rain. I decided to try that and ordered a few poles and guy-lines from Amazon, and bought a large tarp. I’m in my mid-sixties and I invited a friend who’s in her eighties. We are both widows that cared for our disabled husbands for decades. We haven’t been camping in many years, even more since tent camping. We packed up my minivan with a good about of old equipment, and our two little buddies, a toy poodle and a 4 pound cockapoo pup. I don’t have to work Fridays, so we were going to take off Thursday night. While we were waiting for our burgers & fries at a local drive-in, we were informed by some other friends that the campout had been cancelled due to possible thunder storms and heavy rain. We thought about it as we ate and decided we were prepared and would go anyway. It didn’t rain while we were setting up, but it did rain that night from 3 to 5:30 a.m. I’m a light sleeper so I didn’t get any sleep as the rain poured down. But I loved hearing it. My home is very well insulated, I rarely hear the rain, even though we’ve had the wettest spring in 40 years. It didn’t rain most of the next day, and we sat and visited under the nice tarp awning that completely covered our tent and about 10 feet beyond it. We had a great time and plan to do it again this summer. Before your videos, I don’t think I had really seen anyone use a tarp over a tent like that. And I live in a very outdoor recreational state, Oregon. But a lot of people RV or use canopies for rain or to keep out mosquitos. A canopy, instead of the tarp set up, would have been cheaper, but not as much fun.

I like these gear rolls with clear pockets for camping gear. Each pocket has a purpose and being clear it is so easy to locate what is needed. It can be hung from a tree or the side of your vehicle.

I never imagined I could sit through a 3 hour video of one guy camping but man... you make it feel as if I'm there with you. I do not get to go camping as much as I like because of my work but your videos give me that fix for the outdoors in between times I can go. Thanks for the shared experience!

The best thing about Nachos is after the basic concept of cheese over tortilla chips the toppings are up to you. Our house loves spiced shredded chicken, seared peppers, onions, and jalapeños covered with jalapeño white cheese. Enjoy!!

Also … I enjoy watching and hearing about your rain/snow camping. Don’t know why that is, but maybe it’s watching you overcome obstacles. Or maybe it’s sitting in the comfort of my home being glad I don’t have those conditions to deal with. But I don’t think it’s that, for I’ve camped with my husband -and two children - in driving rain in Maine with a hurricane offshore, and still enjoyed it.

So glad to find this today after a marathon day - having trouble unwinding til I saw this was up. Marathon day = work deadlines, recovery from major surgery still, husband down with Covid. . .and I just tested positive. I needed this! Clever using mattress inflation device to push the fire.

Gotta have a puppy to snuggle with. When my dogs were alive, we’d go camping and both would snore so loud that it was comforting, but when a human snores, it’s irritating. Jasmine was 15 and Isabelle 13 and the best buds I ever had! Till we meet again pretty girls.
