Convert A squad of tentacle possessed Chaos Space Marines, then paint them in the most eye melting colour scheme imaginable! Using a bit of green stuff and any Chaos Space Marines from the Chaos range, you can build entire squads of Primaris-hunting tentacled fiends in no time. Okay, that might be a lie. Converting a whole squad might take you more than an afternoon, but in the end, no opponent will face your forces without first taking out a massive insurance policy on their collective nether regions.
I chose the Flawless host over the Emperors Children colour scheme because the Flawless host are quite nasty if you use their rules from Vigilus Ablaze. Plus, the Flawless Host have the most obnoxiously bright colour sceme in all of 40K. Plus, it's basically trimless. I've some variations on this sceheme that were dominated by dark purple, but I found these to be a bit too much alike the pre-heresy Emperors Children colour scheme. Having painted a few squads of Khorne Berserkers a lot of months ago, I decided that colour schemes with massive amounts of trim are highly overrated... because they take too long to paint. Not to say that we won't be releasing a painting guide on our Khorne Berserkers at some point in the future, I just can't be bothered painting an entire ARMY of Khorne's finest nutters.
We forgot to mention that we will be making a painting guide for the Flawless Host. It took some time to figure out how to get this scheme just right (or, wrong). Next I will be painting a LARGE conversion which is very much dedicated to Khorne, video should be out on this project soon.
Our newborn baby boy is awesome, plus, he likes to sleep on us while we're working on our videos, so he's very much an integral part of the Warpsong Games team. Spike held him in one hand while she typed up the script and edited the vast majority of the video and audio. She made a small cameo in this video, which she found somewhat embarrissing to record. Repeatedly whispering 'Taint' into a microphone? Why not.
We have a short but technically brilliant (if over engineered) video out soon, followed by a BIG khornate conversion. Mutilator conversion should be out soon after that. We want to release some shorter content as well, as we're a bit tired of only making 20 minute epics. We've built and mostly painted three armies in the last couple of months, all in the aim of making some sweet, sweet battle reports! Our painting skills have reached a point where I'm finally confident that our painting guides will be useful to the 40K community, so expect them to show up after the Mutilator video. We apologize for our appalling upload rate, word has it Abbaddon himself is all sorts of pissed off about this, and he actually intends to send in one of his most feared lieutenants to encourage us to get our arses in gear. Can't say I blame him, really.
