"surgical" is much more expensive, and aircraft having good visual of targets does not need this. Israel is dependent on USA for replenishing its ammunition stockpiles, and besides this, the iron dome anti-rocket/missile defense system is high expense. The Iron Dome is defensive over Israel territory, it is not offensive in its nature. Israel has at least 10 Iron Dome batteries in operation, each containing 60 to 80 interceptor missiles. Each of those missiles costs about US$60,000. By comparison a Hamas rocket costs less than $600. Israel also now has the living costs of some 2,500 displaced settler families to provide for.
Israel has a right to defend themselves. Either support them or quietly step back. No other country should be telling Israel to allow Hamas or any other terrorist organization to annihilate them. In the end God’s will be done and He is on Israel’s side.
