Tenways CGO600 Pro review: A low-cost Gates belt drive e-bike?! 

I love the belt drive and clean styling. But feel this should be price under $1000.

I like a lot here, i wish somebody would make a bike like this, lightweight removable battery but 48v mid drive, belt drive and a enviolo or shimano in hub gearset in the back. most that fit that have a front fork and /or mountain bike tires. i just want a nice gravel ebike with straight bars for commuting on mixed gravel/paths.

When you use up a battery like this, there is no standardized replacement, right. It's Tenways providing color coded model specific replacement battery for this bike in 5 years or your bike is trash, right? Yes I know you can treat a battery carefully only charging to 80% but the included charger won't help you do that, unless it's got an 80% setting. I know bike companies need to deliver slick looking design, but the limiting factor on their long term viability is dealing with a DTC company who may or may not be around or willing to continue supporting an older model. We need battery standardization and a way to ensure that these packs can be replaced. Micah, are these batteries using just two DC connectors + & -, or is there a proprietary comms channel to the controller or display? A buddy here has his Specialized Globe Haul in the shop for many weeks now because there is a defect on the battery cradle that's affecting lots of bikes, and that's using a Bosch battery. Everyone's waiting on the replacement part. What's the industry doing or failing to do that we should be lobbying for to ensure we don't have a generation of e-bikes that get relegated to scrap/recycling because of one failed proprietary part?

Nice demo! I wish it was chain driven to have gears because I have lots of hills and throttle is a MUST and I hated my Hyper ebike cuz of the little battery at least it had front suspension

for flat smooth places

This is a European spec ebike and a reasonably powerful one at that but it's never going to fly in America when you have class 3 available in this price range.

I’ll never understand using a gates system on a hub drive bike.

Over priced.($1500.00?) No throttle, no gears, 250wt motor? Thats a why bother bike. Perfect for the UK, but I have hills to climb, city traffic that I need burst of power to get moving for safety. Why not offer a USA version of this bike with bigger everything? Thumbs up for the channel. not the bike.
