You have alot of people saying Bud lost against Madrimov or it was a draw. You would think all the top guys at 154 would be trying to fight him. He's old, he lost a step I'm just trying to figure it out 🤔
Idk about lost a step I think moving up in weight and that long lay off played a role I think he's gonna look alot better in his next fight as he gets used to the extra weight

It's genius by the way, Canelo is the face of the sport of boxing. He is playing hardball because he's earned that status as the money man of the entire sport of boxing. Anybody that fights Canelo will win the most money in his career. Canelo has all the right in the world to ask whatever amount he wants to get those two fights which I believe he will beat both Benavidez and Crawford because he is the stronger smarter fighter than those two. The Turk was being a jerk to Canelo and Canelo's pride did not like that either. Canelo negotiates with his opponents you don't negotiate with him. It's that simple. Study a little bit more of modern boxing and you'll see that the A side almost always gets what he wants in a fight, why? Because he can.

After this fight, Virgil needs to go back to the drawing board. Specifically his skill of dodging punches. He caught a lot of hard punches with his face. Bud is too crafty for Virgil. Not to say that Serhii won't do good against Bud. Serhii has a very tight defense. One thing is for sure, whether Virgil is ready, or not, they have to fight. How else is Bud going to beat all at 154 if they never fight? It was no robbery. Virgil won that fight-- a very close fight. But for some reason, we forget that Bud won a close fight with a fighter with only 10 fights! (How quickly we forget)
