I once took 7 tabs of acid (bad idea I was unprepared) which I was later told is essentially an 8 hour DMT trip, let me tell you, there is another side he is spot on, I felt my dog licking my face, my dog died 2 years ago at my feet, he was there comforting me as I came so close to the end. Jesus knew and he felt so sorry for us.

I’ve been having a lot of very fearful thoughts and feelings about the world, universe, life/death and existence lately. These videos are quite comforting, and have come to me at just the right time, I feel. Just the other week I saw an Alan Watts speech, called “The Dream of Life”. And that opened my eyes a little, I think. I’ve never taken any psychedelic substances but a lot of what Terrence says, speaks really clearly to me and I’m grateful for these videos being uploaded and recommended to me lately. I’m sure a lot of people feel the same fears but, I like to at least believe we’re all going the same place. I mean, what’s the point of a giant sandbox filled with potentially endless worlds equal to our own, if only to be experienced once and never again? Deja vu!

Bloody brilliant. Love hearing how he evolved over his years. Went from pure scientific rational linear deeply advanced concepts and studies based on “facts” and then eventually inevitably evolved into the perspective of a spiritual master. Understanding the paradox of being/nonbeing. And at the end of his life he said he realized it was about love all song and wish he would have loved more. I truly feel LOVE is the essence of our purest being. We are the neutral pure awareness of love incarnate when we appear in this “physical” hologram within the one infinite mind. Thanks for posting. Just absolutely astounding really

Terence did a really stellar job conveying the nature of time and the illusion of our existences in this clip. I have only my experiences to compare this to, and it rings so true. My strongest experiences have been with nitrous oxide, which leads me to believe that all substances which enhance divine understanding stem from pursuing death of the physical body and detachment of mind back to the state it is in outside material reality (one of my greatest revelations was realizing that cigs, weed, cid, and nitrous were all the same is essence and substance insofar as the ways they effect mind and consciousness). In my experiences - every time I do them across what we call "time" - I become the infinite thought that has always been in the trap of its own making for purposes of experiencing everything along the spectrums we call pleasure and pain, and this goes beyond all time and all things we assume we know. I realized that all existence is me, and always has been me, and is built for me to experience anything I want to experience. It is impossible to accurately put into words these experiences, as neither our brains nor our language truly can convey that foreign of a concept tied to such a peculiar experience; nonetheless, I tried. I haven't found anything from Terence on nitrous oxide, but from my experiences, it is the closest of all drugs I have done (just about everything except mescaline and DMT) to what I can perceive as infinite glitch of eternal mind and possibility, and the core function which keeps reality as self-perpetuating in a causally deterministic way. I move closer towards a source-point, then move along an infinite gradient of realities back to the point of being, and along the way I experience infinity. I wish this brain could remember and convey it better, but atleast it helps me remember that everything is always ok in the end because ots all just a game. Your friends, family, partners, and all other symbols - including yourself - have always existed in numerous forms, and always will in the eternal game.

It took me a second listen to understand what Terence says about if one being is enlightened then we are all enlightened. In the Buddha's reality, the entire universe was enlightened at the moment he experienced it and has stayed that way since. Once I achieve my own enlightenment, this will also become my reality. Perhaps that somehow ties into what the idea of Heaven/Nirvana is.

Lets go! Lets keep going, for infinity!

Very fascinating. It never occurred to me that since one person is experienced, the whole species or planet may be defined as experienced. But I have applied the concept generally to consciousness before, regarding the question of "universal consciousness". If one entity in the whole span of spacetime becomes conscious, then the whole universe can be said to contain the quality of containing consciousness. It is a conscious universe. From the same cosmological perspective, the idea is that the original moment, the first few hypothetical Planck time units, the universe's big bang expanded space faster than the speed of light. And the cosmologists claim that the span of the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light at its outer periphery, beyond which no light will ever reach us. Taking time dilation into account, the space expanded in this way is frozen in time from our perspective. The clock of the large universe is not ticking at all for us. In fact the math suggests it may be flowing backward in time somehow, which I assume means just similar time flow in another "direction", but not our own supposed historical past. So these suppositions suggest that the "reality" of physical time and therefore of physical experience universally happened all at once...or happens all at once, or will happen... i am not sure how conjugation of verb tenses is supposed to work in relativity? But maybe that is how we will know this weird understanding has finally been assimilated culturally? When we can conjugate verbs relativistically, taking into account the perspective of others. What a concept haha Anyway a physical reality is wrapped in the illusion of time and space, which depends the circular nature of proof -- I know my illusory experience is real because I am experiencing it? Hm cogito ergo null

So mckenna evolved to accept watts illusion lense. Holy crap man, I guess I really am their reincarnations, I should have been more accepting of that, no wonder they were trying so hard to hammer in those concepts. But sadly I had to carve my own path and figure out they were just concepts. Now I’ve got the lense of ideas, illusions, and concepts and they all work for this reality cuz they’re all different lenses.

existence is not a illusion. existence uses illusion to experience itself. it uses time and space to experience the one point. it uses the dream. that is part illusion and part real, experience to unfold itself. this only needs a few seconds to explain, everything is what it is, and you can not remove viewer from it. but even as you are changing and what you see how you see it changes, does that mean its a illusion? keep it simple folks. feel good now. its really that simple.

Which is exactly what he's claiming we don't have in the West as logicians. How are you gonna ignore the influence of the most powerful religion in the West while talking about the discoveries of the ones from the East? That's sloppy thinking.
