"The general mythology of elves is like this, you know, elves respect intelligence. The way they relate to intelligence is they set you riddles. Elves are about language. If you're stupid, they make you sleep for a hundred years at the center of their hills and don't let you go back. If you can riddle their riddle and riddle in return, then they think you're a fine fellow and they let you crawl back to the pub or whatever it is."
This nearly puts my soul to rest knowing the spiritual realm is gonna be way more than anything we ever asked for, the only thing I know for sure is it’s gonna be an massive surge in energy
If the afterlife is like Hyperspace then there will be no "I" there. Whatever ego and identity can be held onto will be lost quickly. One will become all and you will join everyone else in the ecstatic cosmic circus that will have nothing to do with Earthbound identity or concerns.
@@pandoraspice1003 maybe so, maybe not. It's all a big mystery : ) I personally believe that, even though our surface ego will be stripped, there will still be an individual awareness and identity in the higher planes.
There's is definitely a similarity in theme, cartoons are often crazy/exagerated visuals mixed with a message/moral, the message can be lost in the visuals if your not focused though and instead choose to be distracted by the visuals.
i feel the same man, like even other stuff he was always on point. Like i couldn't find better words to describe some of this Phenomenon. The guy was living in the future..Far Future ..If people transcend this hard crystalized reality (through psychedelics , meditation , rituals.. what have you .) then we might be able to experience something comparable to the first fish that crawled out of waters millions of years ago beginning this way the evolutionary line that still stands today. the psychedelics are the new frontier for the new global culture.
@@eggheadusa That's a REALLY good point! If there is one thing they seem to lack (elves, tykes, Earth spirits whatever you wish to call them) it's mundanity! How interesting... perhaps this is the answer to Terence's question: why are they interested in us? We're mundane! Perhaps we give them some brief respite from larger things. What a cool idea. This really never occured to me before and I haven't heard it elsewhere, despite it's simplicity. Thanks for pointing that out! Love you fellow psychonauts.
As if the spectrum of realities that we have access to with our hardware (brain) can dabble in logic and anti-logic. We can swim only in calm water. But there is another environment in which “swimming” involves an extra muscle we don’t often flex due to our nature.
Last Friday, true story: Elves: "Don't let anything stop you from believing what want to believe." Me: "Ah, yes-yes, I see. Bless you." Elves: "Also, don't let anything stop you from believing what NEED to believe." Me: "WHAT THE FUCK DO I NEED TO BELIEVE?!?!?
I got a similar insight, it was, "You will never get sick if you always go after EXACTLY what you want." Then later I realized I am not sure what exactly DO I want??
I like how no matter what title people put on a Terence McKenna video, if it runs long enough he always talks about way more things. Also the part about growing out of believing in the magicality of reality and then discovering reality actually is magical. So true.
“If you can’t take it, you can’t remember it.” This is the answer I’ve been looking for. Never knew why I couldn’t remember a trip but this makes the most sense.

We have never lost anyone is a great way to put it when it comes to waking up to the profound truths of our eternal existence beyond the confines of modernity. Asylums aren't here to stay and the fundamental principles of waking and healing the human condition on any level is well within our reach. Some of us on our journeys reach breaking points that deserve to be looked at and reexamined through the lens of god and organized from a state a chaos to a highly ordered existence through radical acceptance and all inclusive means that embody the liberation of all beings through the advent of eternal self awareness set into motion and practice in each one of our lives. Discovering the power of love within and beyond our internal struggles guides us home to our ideal existence within the emanations of god consciousness in all its myriad of celebratory modes of expression. I have little to no intention to go in the direction of taking the chemicals he is talking about and I can't even say I feel I am missing out on what he is talking about, but yet I could, and have, listened to him talk for hours.
I really do wonder how closely these experiences are related to dreams. I had a night terror once, and the dream, even in hindsight, feels equally if not more real than reality.
As a kid I used to have night terrors roughly once a week for some years and I can agree that they feel overwhelmingly real. That feeling of doom is much clearer than that of a normal nightmare. If you remember well, would you mind telling me what your dream was about? I'd be glad to share mine if you're interested, I've met a couple people that claim to have nearly identical dreams
@@urmad2873 I can't imagine having them regularly, just the one put me off kilter for a good while. What I remember was being confronted by a silhouette under a red sky.. it was yelling at me but I couldn't understand it.. my parents said, however, that I kept screaming "he's going to shoot me!" I can't remember anything relating to a gun though.. but I did wake up to an intense fear of having the lights on... Told my mom right off the bat "they don't like the lights" although I've never been able to recall any part of the dream where I heard that. I'll still wake up sometimes and go to turn on the lights and end up feeling that same "oh no" when they're on. I didn't have a history of night terrors prior, but I had this one during a particularly rough part of my life.
@@manscapedgrinch1427 Thank you for sharing, I take great interest in dreams. To be honest, somehow, having them often didn't really add to the overall discomfort of living with them, they never got any less scary and of course I really didn't want it to happen, but living with them was never something that actually bothered me beyond the nightmare itself and the few hours afterwards when I'd have to reel myself back in and calm down. I actually found them very interesting for the most part despite the unpleasantness. The dream i had contained some similar elements, as there was an emphasis on the sky and also silhouette figures, but in my case i found myself standing on an endless flat gray plane, with a small group of maybe 4 of 5 non threatening silhouettes, clear enough only to discern genders if i focused on one, and the sky was also a similar shade of gray, but with a series of differently sized spheres moving overhead in what seemed like some kind of pattern or specific order. All of a sudden, I'd notice two of the spheres aren't on the right trajectory, and are heading straight towards each other. Right before the spheres collide, one expands very quickly and the other shrinks at the same rate until they collide, at which point the terror sets in and i find myself looking back down at one of the silhouettes, a woman, who would say something along the lines of " i don't know how this happened" with a tone that reinforced the feeling that something very bad was coming. I always had the feeling that the silhouettes that stood around me represented family members, the woman speaking to me being my mother, as she was pretty much the most important and trusted figure in my life during that time. and I assumed that the spheres flying overhead were kind of a metaphor for the unforgiving and destructive march of time, emphasized by concepts of nearly incomprehensible scale that really drove home the feeling of powerlessness.
They are energised by our very existence that is what they get from us, they exist from us, because we are highly compact energy while they are in the field of subtle energy within the hyperspacial lanes of our mental realm; so they're not physical they're energy from our physicality; we are the breath of life to them that's why they love us and don't know us just as we tend not to know that we are that; when we speak we move them in any way we will
Quite the interesting take. It makes me wonder if we join them after passing away and as we do with the death the only "palpable" realm to keep in touch with them is through narrative.

I wish DMT was easier to get. Psychedelics are proven to help with anxiety & depression. I don't wanna put all my eggs in one basket but I feel like it would help me to try this stuff.
My god... I saw those ones once... Twice... But I didn't know that those shapes of energy are actually Elves.. but now I see by this pictures, it's really fucking similar, and that I've experienced was actually THEM..
Elves are a very important part of my country's folklore. The older generations would describe them as little people, mischievous and with the power to loose you. I have personally experienced them in 2 occasions and interacted once with them directly (sort of). In my experience they were just messing with me and did not prese4nt much threat, however I have spoken to many others that have encountered them and have had more aggressive encounters. My guess is they were pissed off that every time we take ore and more of their land. All of this was when I was much younger before I left the country to go to college and before I had any psychedelic experience. TBH I have not encountered them in many years, ironically ever since I tried psychedelic's they have been completely silent.

Around 4:30, agree that it's possible that out entities may not under our limits are individuals or humans, but it's possible and I think likely that some entities not only understand humans, but can read and feel us out individually
Respond here with your journeys on DMT; i'm generally looking for a census here on what the experience is like and if it's pretty much the same thing for everyone. The last time I took shrooms I had a very ayahuasca type of an experience. The visuals were weird in the most fantastic way and I remember “dying” moving on to the “afterlife” where everyone looks like a humanoid figure without human features. Your whole body would have stars and galaxies in it. I met my father whom passed on my 6th birthday and had a long conversation with him. I’m not sure what strain of shrooms I had but I took 2 or 2.5 g’s and it was honestly the most intense trip I’ve ever had. According to some other trip reports I’ve read, it appears my trip was equal to that of 5gs or more. Shrooms are such a tricky psychedelic sometimes
They feel nothing themselves. They can't. They are what the Bible called sucubi or daemons. They want the pleasure of the flesh, and they can't have it unless we let them possess us so they can feel the dopamine we feel. They want us to be happy, because that's how they get to feel happy. I have minor dimensia, so I'm playing with these things all of the time, and nobody knows. They want to be your friends, but they aren't real. Well... they are, but not physically real. The human mind has evolved with a specific set of triggers and goals. We should never encounter these entities because a healthy life consists of satisfying all of our natural desires within our small tribal communities. These things only get to crawls into and get supplication from us when there is a hole in our heart that they can twist and mutate their form to fit in perfectly to make you happy. Every single person has these things inside of them. The atheistic never realize it because they don't have the self awareness to turn inward and self-interogate, or they aren't insane like me. Once somebody gets excited with religion, the shapeless eldritch monster inside of them responds to their excitement and mutates to resemble the thing their host expects or wants them to look like. That is why religiosity always declines when things are good, but rises when things are bad. Those things Lovecraft saw and wrote novels about, I see them too. I hold no expectation of how these things should look because I know what they respond to. They don't hold a definite form in my head unlike others because I know they don't have a single one true form. In my head, they simply hop back and forth between different faces, forms, identities, insects, people, things, like a bright neon colored eldritch clown, or perfectly replicated people from reality, posing as others like actors on a stage hosting a ticket-priced preformamce, whatever it takes to have fun and RP with me. I'm honestly hoping nural technology comes out in my lifetime so I can show people the never ending continuous plays, dramas, thrillers, and epics constantly being written and archived in my memory. I'll never have enough hands to write down everything at the speed at which I dream.

I've never taken DMT, but I've listened to many people talk about their experiences. Let's assume for a moment these elves are real, existing in some another dimension. What do they want from us? The answer seems clear to me: An appreciative audience. Someone to behold and appreciate their genius, hard work, and even their existence. Could it be dangerous? Absolutely. The harder you work on something, the more you become emotionally attached and involved. If someone were to somehow besmirch their efforts, it would likely all come to an end for them, as soon as they were alone. You'd be taking a walk through the forest and BOOM, all of a sudden, shit would start getting WEIRD lol....
