I am a white american 15-year-old guy from North Carolina, the last person you'd expect to be listening to this treasure. A few years ago I was looking for some Japanese songs, as I love Japanese culture, when I stumbled on this video. I was instantly infatuated with her singing and listened to her regularly ever since I heard this song. I even got to know and love her Mandarin and Cantonese songs as well, and also inspiring me to learn all about Taiwan and it's history. All because of one video, which I am so grateful for viewing, I got to learn about this treasure in the music world, unknown in America by people other than the Chinese living here. Thank you! 謝謝。 ありがとうございました!
Congratulations and welcome to our club of Japanese music lovers. Just like you 7 years ago I also happened to stumble on a beautiful Japanese song below and also felt in love with Teresa before that. I am very impressed by a young man like you and already have an open mind about different cultures and their music. Take good care and you will go far. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Famsf4ko1uo.html
No matter how hard people try to imitate her voice. She'll always be the best. When people sing songs like "tian me me", they raise goose bumps all over my body. When she sings those songs, it brings tears of joy to my eyes, along with a comforting shiver around my body.
O tempo pode passar, mas as músicas de Tereza Teng são eternas. Falo do Brasil, no ano 2024. Todas as vezes que ouço suas músicas me emociono. Gratidão Tereza por contribuir com suas lindas músicas
I think it's wonderful how Japanese people and Chinese people were connected trough this amazing artist. It's a shame this relationship is deteriorating nowadays and no other artist has such a connecting influence between those 2 great nations. She was a model, still is.
my dad's fave chinese singer. I remember when he was still alive he used to play all teresa teng songs. I, as a kid can't appreciate it before but now i do. I miss you dad and mom wish you both still here.😌😔
In my language japanese the song 愛人means mistress, essentially the woman that you were cheating your wife with. That song literally tells her longing and how she felt being someone's mistress, the guilt and longing to be loved. According to my friend which is chinese, the word 愛人 means something else in chinese as opposed to the actual meaning 情婦.
@@KiseiruYoshioka yeah, Iäm Vietnamese but aijin in Sino Vietnamese simply means lover - the person that one loves or the person that loves one. Interesting to know that in Japanese it means mistress.
@@vieven7964 Yes because us japanese uses kanji (chinese letters) due to sino-japanese relation but the kanji word usage evolved and some words would have different meaning. Glad that you like Teresa's song, her song is timeless.
Everything is perfect . all your songs are lovely and with touching, meaningful lyrics. You have a humble, gentle and attractive personality....Will forever listen to your songs.
Wow! first time hearing the original. It's beautiful, she's beautiful. Too bad she not with us anymore. Her voice is crystal clear even her pronunciation of words.
1985年12月6日, 32歲的鄧麗君以「愛人」一曲二度蟬連關東舉辦之第18回「日本有線大賞」大賞 (冠軍) 。 Thank you for sharing this momentous and historical moment in Teresa's musical career with us fans. Those were the days. 26 years later, we are still proud of her lifetime achievements.

It is the versatilty and range of her selections of songs that is amazing- in Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai and Singaporeanand English - she was capable in any language - she did it all.
I am a Singaporean. There is no such language. We speak Malay, Mandarin Chinese and Tamil. And no race or ethnicity called Singaporean. We are a sovereign nation makes up 3 different ethnic races. Like the Swiss, or the Australian.

Viví parte de mi infancia en Japón Kioto y mis padres siempre ponían sus canciones en casa .. y desde ese entonces a la actualidad con 32 años aún amo escucharla . Han pasado más de 25 años desde que la escuché por primera vez y me sigue encantando 🙏🥰
Thank you for loading this video clip of Teresa Tang, I love her voice and also like her Japanese songs very much. She is one of my favourtie singers. She is such a beautiful lady. To be honest with you I listen this song almost everyday. I felt very upset when I heard she was passed away, but her spirits and legends still going on forever as far as I am concerned. Once again, thank you.
For anyone that doesn’t know this is from a Chinese drama called the untamed. The picture itself is from the donghua(anime) called mo dao zu shi. They’re both based on a novel of the same name. It’s actually labeled as a BL and it’s one of the most epic /beautiful tales I’ve ever read/seen. So if you’re interested in either the live action and/or animation they’re both free on RU-vid :) Edit: the live action drama’s opening is also sung by the two main actors :) there are also separate voice actors who dub over the actors. They still speak in Chinese, but I believe this is common due to the actors having different dialects than what was needed, so other voice actors dub over them. The one who dubs for the actor in white still voices the same character in the animation as well :) just a fun fact :D Second edit: there are audio dramas in Chinese and Japanese as well if I’m not mistaken :) these aren’t as explicit as the novel… but they do get pretty spicy several manhua(manga) exist as well
@ymelshka I've actually came here to know about her, cuz of a manhwa I'm reading right now. ALSO A BL 😂😂😂 The protagonist said sth about teresa being his most favorite singer, and then I'm here. ahhaahhaah
