Terminator 2: 3-D Universal's Best Show 

This show was absolute GOLD. Kimberly Duncan. Shaq swishing free throws. And that was just the preshow!!!

I still recall seeing this show opening year. It was utterly mind blowing to everyone in the audience.

The explosion at the end, with the smoke effect blasting you in the face super fast and all you could see were the light effects flashing through it and honestly it was so immersive to little kid me

I've ridden this "ride" / show so many times.. Damn near started crying watching the video from the memories. Such a good ride... I miss it

“Suuuuperrr!” Really enjoyed this show especially when the scenes have live actors. The stunts were great especially for an indoor show. Where I didn’t like the show was when it switched to us just watching the Terminator and John. It breaks immersion, until we jump back to when the audience is part of the show again and not just spectating. Personally, I prefer Waterworld stunt show over this, but I still would rather have T2 instead of the Minions ride in Hollywood.

I auditioned for the role in 2005...I was in the top 7 finalists...Turned out, they took no one. Just used the same guy they had.....I was soooo upset

My favorite character was Kimberly Duncan... where when she faces you she seems like a sweet and happy character but when her back is turned that is when her true evil nature shows. I also like to hear the unique lines from each actress. One note that there are times where Kimberly doesn't die, I think when the control panel on stage is not operable for her to exit the show, her alternate ending is for her to run out of the auditorium after seeing how insane the situation has become.

This was a really great show. I enjoyed The Bourne show and the use of the LED screens and physical props is the next generation of evolving for their shows but T2 is still my favorite.

This was one of the few 3D things that made me flinch. It was very well done.

I worked on this show! Was one of the fx team that made and puppeteered the terminator arms in the opening segment movie. The terminator arms that tucked in the little girl and did brain surgery was our stuff. I still have a crew jacket.

Remember getting spritzed with cold water when Arnold blew up the "Frozen" T-1 million, it was AWESOME for making you feel like you were there.

Every so often, you could stay for a behind the scenes extra show after a performance which I'm glad I got to see. This show is up there in compexity with Star Trek the Experience.

I had been on this "ride" many times being from florida and finally took my wife to see it a few years ago. I warned her that it had been around for a while and could be cheesy. The one part that killed me was that when the T-800 ran past us during one of the action sequences, the actor was very clearly overweight and out of breath. I couldn't contain my laughter.

I was at the final show. Was a great send off with everyone cheering and all the cast on stage at the end with everyone chanting “T2!T2!T2!”

i have seen this show over 20 times...and it never got old

I went to see this amazing attraction when i was 18 at Universal Studios Hollywood. James Cameron really outdid himself with this show / ride. It was amazing. The 3D and 4D effects were fantastic. T2: Battle Across Time is still the best sequel to T2. I wish we could see the Flying Mini-Hunter Killers again.

I saw the show back in summer 1996 and I still have very fond memories. The immersion was brilliant!

12 year old me in 1998 being a big arnold fan and t2 was my favorite movie went on this ride and it blew my frigging mind. Wish I could do it one more time

I was a ride op for this at USH, this show was alot of fun. I still believe that USH needs to go back to their roots and focus on more shows. You are centered in Hollywood, and the movies are what made you but now its all about rides, etc. Bring back the entertainment Dept. This show was one of the greatest, followed closely by the Spiderman and Beetlejuice shows at USH.

This was one of my faves. I was sad to see it go. It was dated in the end but it was great ❤

I really miss T2, glad I saw it a few times. Just like the movie, the first time you see it you are blown-away. At least 'Waterworld' is still running. Seems like an odd irony, as T2 was a box-office super-hit, and Waterworld wasn't. Loved both movies, and both shows.

This was the canon ending to the Terminator franchise.

I remember being caught completely off-guard by the immersive experience; it's certainly the best attraction I personally ever experienced.

The perfect combination of a mind blowing show with new technologies, and fantastic continuation of a great film. All their ducks were in a row on this one. I had the opportunity to be part of the closed press event in '96. I got to rub some elbows, it was a great time.

Saw this when I was a kid and it still is a core memory to this day as to how amazing eveything was

I loved it best bits were the cyberdyne tour guide and when they revel the t 70s

It was an astonishing show worthy of a high-end theme park. It succeeded on every level.

When I saw this show this one time someone had brought there baby. The baby before the show even started burst into tears and kept crying. The show host stayed in character and was sarcastic the whole time 😂 saying things like “that’s a fun noise” and “isn’t it nice hearing that sound before our presentation” eventually the parents with the baby thankfully left and I have no idea what the parents were thinking but it was honestly hilarious.

This was such an incredible show. I almost cried when they removed it.

This show set the standard for all of the other shows that came after it. The special effects, the animatronics, the stunts, everything was on point. The only thing is that time caught up with it. But it was a great show. Thanks for the video.

I always sat in the front and that fog was pretty intense. Couldn't see anyone or anything around me. I miss it dearly.

Borne is my favorite attraction at Universal Orlando, including rides. (Not including HHN, which is an event), T2 felt dated even from when i first saw it in the mid 00s, even though i enjoyed it a lot.

Definitely their best show. It was alot of fun.

I was disappointed when they replaced the Shaquille O’Neal free throw portion of the preshow with a soccer kicking video.

Miami vice and beetle juice rock n roll were the best

Terminator 2: 3-D is the only TRUE successor sequel to Terminator 2! And it's not even a freaking movie!

The Hollywood version was there for far too short a time. It took years to get a version after Florida and then it was removed right away.

... what your opinion might be if you're not old enough to have experienced Alfred Hitchcock 3D. those birds were still to this day the best 3D i've ever seen.

Did the Terminator show ever receive updates to make it less stuck in the 90s? Were the screens ever updated to HD like the Spider-Man screens, and were the products Cyberdine was advertising as the future ever updated to not be decades behind current technology? If not, that's probably why Bourne replaced it.

Should they bring back this type of show again? I hope so they were really entertaining.

I remember seeing this in Florida when it was first opened in my late teens. Loved it. It's a shame they replaced it with something else. Guess to go with the changing times.

While Bourne was good, it still has nothing on this classic! To me, no matter how old it was, it still was tops! I understand wanting to do something new, but worst case, just do a little refurbishing to keep it going and put the Bourne in another location of the park. 💁🏾‍♂️

T2 3-D was great, but it's beaten out by Bourne and WaterWorld for me personally.

The only good movies are Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

This mind sound stupid, but I’ll say it anyway: I would LOVE if Universal took the show back to Terminator 1. Instead of having the theater be full of Skynet references and future Terminators, we enter Post Terminator-1 1985 where we meet a younger but fighter-training Sarah. We the people are “Believers” of Judgement Day and that Terminators are real. We are led into the theater which is a “Resistance Rally” where Sarah acknowledges Kyle Reese, when suddenly a new T-800 appears and pulls Sarah (along with us) into an alternative future where all kinds of Terminators exist, but not YET the eventual model for John. The “prototype” Terminators can be played by younger current Universal stars picked by Arnold himself who’d be good fits. “Possible Alternatives” could be a Chris Evans Terminator. A Rock Terminator. A Michele Rodriguez Terminator. A Jason Statham Terminator. Sarah eventually chooses an unseen model to eventually become John’s future protector and sends it through a new portal before blowing up all the other Possible Alternatives and taking us back to the theater in 1985. Before we leave, she looks at the unseen Terminator in its casing and says “We have work to do…” Implying an all new future but leaving T2 still respected as a possibility.

It was really good but the Bourne show is better new technology amd morw action
