I was a 15 year old kid when I saw this in the cinema of August 18th, 1991! One of the greatest summers ever!! When we started back at Secondary school, the whole school was talking about it!! Pure awesomeness!! Give me those days back anytime!!❤❤❤❤
I mean- watching this scene it pays off. It's a perfect action chase scene. An unstoppable killing liquid metal chasing a kid who get's saved by a ruthless cybernetic organism.
This is why I no longer critique movies as awful. A lot of hard work goes into making a movie, often times with tears, sweat, pain and suffering just to get that perfect shot. A movie may be mediocre but I have learned to appreciate the effort that went into it.
This movie still amazes me, infact this is one of the few movies which I can watch again and again forever. Hats off to the entire crew specially to the Director and to the Actors for making such a breathtaking movie. Their hard work really paid off.
According to other sources (IMDB), it's reported the hand injury resulted from grabbing the wrong prop shotgun, one that didn't have its lever enlarged.

These are just some aspects of why Terminator 2 is one of the greatest movies of all time. Brilliant director, actors, production team and screenplay. All the stars were aligned for this movie.
Many actors could have played the role of Terminator, but it takes an X factor to bring something unique into a particular character, which is what Arnold did, and that's what made him a legend.

While mr. Zwarznegger and mr. Cameron themselves have said that 80% of the shots on the bike are done by his stunt double because he couldn’t control the weapon and the motorcycle at the same time. Even crossing the street and making a hard turn couldn’t be done by Arnold. So yes, he practiced the handling of the shotgun, in fact he practiced all weapons thoroughly, even blindfolded, but the shots of the terminator driving while handling the shotgun, were not Arnold’s.
In the Terminator 2 games, most people would fail at shooting the lock on the gate. Worse, you have to start again if you die. You can easily pass games like Double Dragon, or Contra, but getting through T2 game is hard.
It was a fairly balanced game. I completed the game without much difficulty. In my opinion one of the most challenging game of that era was Super Spy Hunter by Sunsoft. The game has awesome cars, fast pace, groovy music. And your car turn into ship and airplane in later stages. At Stage 5 boss fight is very challenging.

Nope, he had trouble with substance abuse and also other kinds of abuse, that's why they recast the role for Terminator 3, but he's been in some low budget stuff
Wow. Arnold had a tough time. I feel so bad for him. Imagine if he *wasn’t* the biggest film star in the world at the time. He sure has a rough life, his fingers got scraped up. I’m shedding a tear.

They could have given the terminator hand gloves that cpukd have resemebled robotic arms. The scenes could A also have been edited with John in a different clip edited together, later.
This lever action Winchester shotgun even with just only a shortened barrel is kind of clumsy to handle with one hand. It takes a man of Arnold's stature ,& strength to wield it with a sawed off butt stock as well.
