Terminator 2 - Judgment Day is a fighting game released by Ocean in 1991, for the Amstrad computer.
It is the near future... Battle rages between man and machine. Skynet, the computer that controls the machines, sends a Terminator through time to destroy the rebel leader's mother, Sarah Connor, who is living in the time 1984. It failed.
Undaunted, another Terminator was sent back in time to 1994 to strike at John Connor, the future rebel leader, who is still a child at the time. The resistance must protect the child.
Again the rebels were able to send a lone warrior to protect him. This time a machine will battle one of its kind.

Buena partidita te has marcado.Yo a este juego nunca llegué a jugar en el amstrad. Pero viéndolo me recordó a varios.Cuando lucha con el T-1000 me recordó a un juego llamado Bronx. Los puzzles me recordaron un poco al Batman the movie la fase de la mano y el puzzle de la cara al del Robocop. Luego la fase del helicóptero disparando me recordó al Licence to kill (James Bond).Y la fase de la moto al Turbo Girl.Creo que el juego en si no aporta nada que no hayamos visto en otros.Creo que para ser de Ocean la calidad debería estar bastante más por encima, ya que la película fue todo un super éxito de la época, pero claro era lo que vendía el nombre aunque luego el juego fuera malo o regulero. Este se salva pero por la película.

Que alegría verle de nuevo por estos lares. Yo si que lo tuve en su momento y la verdad es que me gustaba jugarlo bastante, pero tienes razón y para ser de Ocean el juego debería ser bastante mejor. Es evidente que donde este T2 pega el bajón es en sus niveles base, ya que se reducen a un simple uno contra uno... Quizá niveles tipo arcade o de plataformas hubiesen elevado este juego a los altares del amstrad, pero se ve que a estas alturas de la película los de Ocean ya no estaban para publicar obras maestras. Mis preferidas las fases de moto y helicóptero, respectivamente.

@@RetroDanuart Andar ando por los lares pero subir poca cosa.Perdí hace ya un par de años un disco duro con muchas partidas y volver a empezar a jugar de nuevo da pereza porque había juegos de toda clase.Pero bueno subiré algo un día de estos...Saludos.
