Scene from Terminator -- The Sarah Connor Chronicles Summer Glau, Sabrina Perez, Sasha Roiz, Aldo Gonzales, Lena Headey (Season 1, epsiode 2, directed by David Nutter)
It's her height, voice and fashion sense. She can look like the most intimidating murder machine in the world... but she can also look like the cutest and hotest girl you'll ever meet; so harmless she couldn't even kill a fly.
at the SiliCon in San Jose, she walked like ten feet from me and I was too nervous to say anything to her 🙂 I was in line to see her panel discussion and she was walking into the room for it. I looked up and thought woah, that's Summer Glau! 😲 but couldn't speak lol this was in 2022. 🙂
@@MrSabretooth19 Maybe. I know him as Adama's brother in Caprica. The guy is too great an actor to have such a brief cameo here, but everyone must start somewhere.
Funnily enough, the chola was one of the most memorable characters from this show. She doesn't do or say anything, but for some reason, she just left an impression on the viewers. She was like the female Boba Fett of TSCC. LoL
None of the movies after Terminator 2: Judgement Day managed to bring back that special Terminator atmosphere, but this series did. Summer Glau's acting was superb, She had such an instinctive feel for the character. Lena Headey did a great job too as John's mother. Can't believe we never got to see John's adventures in the future...
Agree.. i was totally hook up with most of the fans those day and the TSCC forum was so crowd, we were having such great time talking about the show, and not even the petition manage to bring it back... although i notice most fans are international based, That look of kill by Summer Glau totally display what a killing machine looks like, John connor in this universe (not the loath movie universe) was so lucky to have a girlfriend/protector in Cameron
@Legendary super Saiyan Broly Nah dude, it was terrible. People just have their nostalgia glasses on. This show needed recasting, better writers/director, and a much bigger budget to actually be good. A lot of the positivity is from diehard Summer Glau fans because she was a hot nerdy icon for a little while. You can even see in some of the comments that a lot of people just have a crush on her so they'll ignore the bad acting and the complete lack of chemistry between her and John Connor. To be fair, it's not all her fault since the actor who plays him is gay and seems to struggle with playing a convincing straight man.
This was so true the Terminator movies. The way you could see the tiny pauses as she calculated things. And that last calculation when she deems cop is threat to safety of John, so must be terminated. She would have snapped his neck. And the best part is he walks away never knowing he was seconds from death.
Too bad she was the only really good thing about the show. Terminator 2 was the last true Terminator film. I have mixed feelings about this new Terminator 3. Cameron handed this one off too. He did that to Alita and it bombed. Why do we need a thousand more Avatar movies... why?!! LOL!
@@dan_hitchman007 Summer Glau and the Toyota FJ60 Landcruiser...with half the emblem letters blacked out because Dodge or Chevy was sponsoring the series.
It’s good but frustrating to watch because I can’t stop thinking throughout every episode “why hasn’t John banged her yet? Is this the episode? Is John gay? Aaah damn it, she’ll do whatever you want and shes smoking hot you lucky prick what wrongs with you!” And i know i’m not the only one thinking this
I agree man she cared the show? Just like that feeling social justice Warrior piece of crap Supergirl Melissa Benoist maybe the star but we all know who carried the show and that's Katie McGrath, unequivocally without question 100% no filters Katie McGrath say that show forgetting cancel it's best you don't season 2 without Katie McGrath there be no Supergirl it would have made it past season 1 of course it would have been a better show without the black guy
The way she threatened Riley. Poor Riley...then I quickly remembered that Riley was also with a hidden agenda. Can I just say how very very intimidating Cameron is with just her stare. Riley in tears didn't even phase Cameron. "This is your fault. You're the reason that person is here. They don't always like the way I do things. What am I going to do with you? You don't belong here. John isn't right for you and you're not right for him. You're unreliable. You're a threat. don't know what you do. You can't stay here anymore. (pause with stare) But I can't let you leave. What am I going to do with you?" Then that Cameron stare.
Don't get me wrong. I deeply respect cops, but in this movie, I would have loved for Cameron to literally take apart this cop and his partner, just to see this hispanic girl's face.
I remember the episode where Cameron was sent on a reconnaissance mission and returned home in a cop’s uniform and Sarah looked at her and said “…and another cop lies bleeding in an alley somewhere”.
Funny how Sarah grabs Cameron by the arm and drags her away but the director forgot one thing, Cameron weigh's about a ton and Sarah in reality wouldn't be able to budge Cameron.
She sure doesn't weigh a ton. It would look very suspicious to move around in a human environment if she was constantly breaking stuff under her .For example, she wouldn't be able to lean on the hood of a car like in this episode without instantly bending it. Now imagine what it would look like if she tried to get into the car.
This was a good series. The first season was building up some side stories that were apparently an attempt to give the series a lot of depth and character build up. They abandoned most of them for the second season, but as good as the first season was, the second season was a whole lot better. Summer Glau had two really good series (Firefly and this one) that were cut short way too early.
I would not blame Summer for acting in shows that got cancelled, it's all unfortunate timing. She is a terrific actress who just got unlucky landing roles in doomed series. As of now, she is taking an acting hiatus to focus on raising her two daughters. She is however appearing in a small role om Netflix's Wu Assassins this August 2019 and is doing narration for a sci-fi audio drama series called Alternis by Serial Box.
Don't know why they never put her in the newer terminator films. Especially Dark Fate which has feminine dominance in actors. She played a good terminator.
I like when T1000 in terminator 2 and also cameron goes into the neutral predator mode. They still look calm in the face but it is clear they are about to attack someone.
Arnold needs to pass the torch to her to continue the Terminator movies. She nails the role perfectly during this show. He is old, and I don't think the Rock, nor any other wrestler turned actor should get this role. She proved she can handle it. Plus it would be funny to see a 100 pound woman toss around 200 - 300 pound muscle bound dudes like rag dolls.
Wow, that cop is Sasha Roiz, from the series Grimm. And what is up with that fictional "City of Los Angeles Police " patch. LAPD doesn't wear patches on their shirts, and that's definitely a mock up.
And then the cop ends up in a trunk. Cameron is known for making people disappear.... She is a Terminator after all. Seriously, she is a much better character than any of the movies after T2.
Yeah, that's how good an actor she is, how fully she disappears into the character. I was a GoT fan for two years before I suddenly went "OMG that's Sarah Connor!"
