i was in China in May and the weather was lovelyyy. its amazing how the weather changes so quickly. I loved seeing the Terra Cotta Warriors, you definitely have to see it in person to get the awe of it all. Did you get to go to the Terra Cotta Replicas factory?? Its interesting to see how they are made!
@chengda85 no, when they uncovered them they all had colour on them. In some of the photos you can see the colour. It's because the air oxidized the paint :/
I am just loving your travel videos, Nadine. I have seen the terracotta warriors on TV before. But what I enjoyed was, instead of some nutty professor or some desperate for work fading celebrity presenting them, you gave the perspective of an ordinary person. That is so refreshing.
@notToast It's very hard to film anything with the crowdes, I do have some shots of just the warriors, however, alot of people get very bored with just.... scenic shots, I try and very it up.
I saw the Terracotta warriors when the exhibit toured the US. I saw them in Washington DC before they sent them back to China. Of course there were only 15 or 20 but you could see them all up close. Really interesting stuff.
Nice Video thanks for showing everyone the warrior's makes me want to go see them in person, i like all the travel videos you have done so far, keep it up. You are doing a good job and don't stop. =D hope to see more soon.
It's really nice to see all of this through your personal vlogs, a lot more fun than watching it on discovery or some professional show. (: Maybe I heard wrong, but did you say it was April in this video? I think I'm just now realizing that you're showing us all these videos far after it's all done lol, and there's nothing wrong with that. (:
Contrary to all of the people saying these videos suck I actually LOVE them. I always wanted to travel to these places so it's great seeing them on your channel :D
@nayders07 In Egypt the old temples lost their colours due to the sun, and the parts that get no sunlight are the parts that are fully coloured still, shame but oh well lol.
@nayders07 you do not have to explain yourself to this person. this is your channel & this is about YOU not just the terracotta warriors. It's your freakin vacation & just taking the time to make these videos for us to the beautiful world was enough & very kind of you. & yeah. I didn't sub to to see just a video of things. I want to see your face & hear your opinion & knowledge. Thank you
@GeneralJaguar The warriors, from what my history teacher said, are a bit taller than normal people to scare ennemies but asian are usually shorter, so maybe their taller is a normal height for us?
Eh Nadine are those warriors life size or a abit smaller scale? It was hard to tell from the angle...Funny that alot of the officers didn't have heads....I guess you didn't need them back in the day lol. Thanks for the vids bud..you two take care and have fun!
idon't quite understand this. did you buy a round trip ticket to visit places all over the world?? or is this trip sponsored by a contest or something? because i remember you entering in a contest or whatever...i just want to know because i'd like to do something like this in the future. :) and if you did purchase a ticket how much did it cost you? thank you!-dominosp.s. i love these videos :)
i used to count my english teachers "yeas". and she caught me doing it cause i was laughing so bad everytime she said yea. so i ended up having to answer some really fucked up questions.
haha, i think you are so used to directing the video that once the other girl took the camera you were like uhmmm yeahhhhh give it back! haha. just kidding. cool vid. so much awesome stuff youve seen/shared.
cool, you just saved me thousands more dollars by not having to travel to China. Maybe I can send you a list of other things I want to see? LOL or as they say in China ROR Thanks for sharing
