You did make one mistake in this guide, you were using post-moon lord gear, which boosted the damage output of ALL weapons, Instead of showing off their capability around the time you usually receive the weapon. For example: Generally speaking most players will have about iron/silver armor by the time they decide to break their first shadow orb, which doesn't boost any ranged. Not only that, but the Minishark with musket balls generally only does about 9-11 damage per shot, but in the video it desplays 40 on crit, and slightly lower on non-crit. The most accurate pieces in this guide are the end game guns that DO benefit from the armor you have when you get them. All around though, I do like this guide. Very informative.

Onyx blaster in my opinion is the best You only need 2 dark shards, shotgun (arms dealer) and souls of night which are very easy to get, and can take you pretty far through hardmode
The star canon is amazing, even leading into early hard mode it is amazing and is my go-to weapon for defeating the wall and carried me through my pre-hardcore expert run, I didn’t even have a problem with the stars, although I did use a duplication glitch

The Onyx Blaster is probably one of the best guns in the game in terms of progression. Like, you can get it at the start of hardmode and don’t have to replace it until after golem.
The snowball cannon is definitely an honorable mention in my opinion, I got it almost right away and I was able to defeat eye and brain of Cthulhu and also the queen bee with it pretty quickly before I even got a decent sword or gun.
Hmm true, guess I should have put that in. It's only good if you happen to be starting a new world around christmas, but if you happen to get it at just the right time it would be pretty awesome.
You can also get the mega shark without killing the destroyer lepus sometimes drop souls of might these are the only souls available pre hardmode this is also mobile and 3DS content only

Early hardmode I used the clockwork rifle with Crystal bullets. That thing was an absolute beasts against everything since it was three bullets for one

I'm gonna ask You bro, Where is the revolver? Revolver is very Good at Early game But It more Useful in mobile if Your musket Had bad Modifier or Upgrade.
Yeah, I probably should have included it. At the time I thought it was too rare and not all that powerful to consider it among the best, but I can see where it would be useful now.
+Fallen Crisis I restricted this to only guns that shoot bullets for the sake of simplicity... and as you can see it's still pretty complicated. Lol :/
