as a summoner main; it deserves that assumption, it was quite bad for a LONG while, it wasn't till the moon lord was added that they made it an official class past having the tiki set iirc (wipd)
@@abucket14 Not really? The only way in that Summoner was made “official” in 1.3 was that it got an emblem. 1.2.4 was the big one. Base 1.2 added the tiki necklace and armor as well as the Pygmy Staff. Early game there was the slime staff and imp staff and that was it. It was more of a side thing in that moment. Staff of the Frost Hydra existed but was a one-off item. 1.2.1: Necromantic scroll, raven staff, spooky armor 1.2.1.2: Papyrus Scarab 1.2.4: Summoning Potion, Bee Armor, Hornet Staff, Spider Armor, Spider Staff, Queen Spider Staff, Pirate Staff, Optic Staff, Tempest Staff 1.3 added grand total of 0 pre-hardmode progression items for summoner. With the only read prehardmode addition being the Bewitching Table. As for hardmode the only thing outside of content that was new for _every_ class was the summoner emblem. The post-Plantera Solar Eclipse, Martian Madness, and Lunar Event were new for all classes so while there were a lot of new summoner items here, they aren’t as relevant to the “playable class” designation. 1.3.3: Forbidden Armor 1.3.4: Old One’s Army. Obviously a huge amount of stuff on the sentry side of things, but that’s more of a subclass. 1.4 and beyond: way more early game summoner equipment as well as whips which make the class much more normie friendly. Overall though I would say doing summoner was totally possible since 1.2.4 which came out 9 years ago, though the early game would be quite tough and you’d need to not solo-class. I mained summoner in the old days. It’s been relatively viable at least in hardmode if you could get through the lack of prehardmode content for a LONG time.
To those who are still seeking, still questioning, still not sure about their faith, here's an invitation. Understand that we, as humans, are limited. We often make mistakes, go astray, and lose our way. It's not about perfection; no one is. As it is stated in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Recognize that actions alone won't bring ultimate salvation. It's not about counting good deeds against the bad. Ephesians 2:8-9 teaches, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Believe in the transformative power of love and forgiveness embodied in Jesus Christ. He laid down His life so we could find ours. The Bible states in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." True change and enlightenment come when we turn away from our old life and towards a new one - one guided by compassion, love, and humility. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." Express your faith, not only in words but also in actions. Embrace love, kindness, and righteousness, just like how Jesus lived His life. As Romans 10:9 suggests, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Consider baptism, a symbolic gesture of your new journey, your decision to leave the old behind, and embark on a new life in Him. Matthew 28:19 encourages us, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Lastly, remain steadfast. Consistency in following Jesus and His teachings is the key. As Jesus says in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commands." -+

I believe that for the skeleton area chatgpt was actually a genius; it was of course describing one of those hoik loops designed to trap the dungeon guardian in the middle, trying to help defeat a far greater challenge
Also summoner for wall of flesh was on the right track, it just needed to say bees and it would’ve made much more sense, but not necessarily because apparently the loadout it gave was already enough
Im actually really surprised that it suggested thr obsidian armor imp staff combo, its a pretty obscure combo for people who don't exclusively play summoner, hence why he had no idea it would be good
Most of them are quite bad to be honest, not optimal but usable hence slowing the progression. On the other hand it shows how many ideas can be used to beat bosses.
@@Sc4rletttthat was the whole point of the run bro it’s a challenge run for a reason if he wanted the ai to give him solid suggestions the entire time he would just play the game normally because it wouldn’t be a challenge either way
I love how chatgpt has the entire wiki at its disposal which has all the information it needs and multiple guides but it also has everything else at its disposal and can’t understand what sources are more trustworthy than others. Coincidentally my dad had recently told me that apparently ai art is getting worse and the reason is because it is progressively getting more ai art it’s taking from, like making a copy of a copy
not how modern ai works. what's loaded up hasn't been exposed to the internet for a good few years, each generation of an ai tool has everything loaded at once. no live updates, no access to the internet. it might have some scraps of knowledge from the wiki in 2021 but not today's wiki
If I understand it correctly, ChatGPT doesn't actually understand anything it "reads", at least not in the same way a human would. All it does is look for patterns in the text, and then generate new text that follows the same pattern by choosing words that it thinks are likely to be used- like a smarter version of the predictive text feature on a phone. It's not actually learning anything about how the game works from the wiki, it's learning how the wiki itself is written. So if you were to ask ChatGPT for information from the terraria wiki (or anything, really), it wouldn't actually give you any info from the wiki, it would just spit out some nonsense based on what it THINKS the wiki is SUPPOSED to look like. That's why it occasionally uses correct terminology, but has no understanding of game progression, strategy or game mechanics, and sometimes makes up stuff that kinda-sorta sounds like it could be in the game but isn't actually real.
It’s not getting worse yet. What he’s talking about is a potential risk a few papers have written about, which is AI becoming more generalized if it happens to be fed AI content, which will become increasingly difficult to avoid as more AI content is generated. But as of right now, all popular AI models are trained on content that isn’t AI gen’d.
FYI for the adamantite admiral to help you, you need to use the war axe too, it helped me a lot with the mech bosses in my first playthrough Edit: actual tip here. King slime can spawn naturally on the outer edges of the world which is why he spawned during the lunatic cultist fight
17:40 The Wiki says that the Slime King can rarely spawn, and I quote: "Rarely in the outer lateral sixths of the map, during daytime, and only on grass." // "He can spawn at random in a certain area of the world, which is similar to the spawning of regular enemies, rather than bosses." Didn't know that too until I read that.
To translate, this means that King Slime can spawn: -during daytime, as slimes do; -on a strip of grass that's flat, dry and roughly twenty blocks wide; -with sufficient vertical space; -on the leftmost and rightmost sixths of the map; -above 0 altitude.
Obsidian armor is 35% whip range and speed paired with the spinal tap that thing can dish out some pretty good damage, the vampire frog staff is far from the best summon to fight wof tho tbh its kinda relegated to early game and before you get the hornet and imp staff oh and vampire frogs still run on local (or smth else i forgot the name) i frames iirc so even with 4 frogs out only 1 or 2 will actually be dealing dmg, just a tip in case you ever go summoner again
Stim: how do I kill the wall of flesh? A-I T H E. I N F I N I T Y. S T O N E. THE LEGENDARY WEAPON OBTAINED BY KILLING THE GOLD WINGED GUARDIANS OF HELL
Statue army is actually good combined with cross necklace, since the 1 damage from weaker enemies can activate your i-frames allowing you to dodge a stronger attack
so it suggested a hellwing bow pre boss? hmmmm i mean its technically not fully impossible to get pre boss but uh its gonna be a very painful trip to the dungeon for that shadow key
You can summon a boss and go into the Dungeon untouched (Not sure if it's still a thing, but bosses disable enemy spawns, Dungeon Guardians count as enemies, pots contain gold keys, and the first chest always contains a Murumasa)
@@glauberglousger956 well first chest isnt the sword anymore and enemies can spawn while a boss is alive its just the spawn rate is almost zero. so you most likely wont see an enemy in a boss fight. also d guards even though they show up as an enemy they are still triggered by the depth 0. also not sure which boss you could fight and live without attacking in the small space the dungeon is while breaking pots for keys and looking for a shadow key. might be easier to go for lava fishing as dumb as it sounds
LOL I'm mostly just impressed that ChatGPT was not hopelessly incorrect most of the time... Most. No idea where it got the Adamanite Admiral from, lol. while statue army is an absolute joke it genuinely has two helpful use cases: - free enemies to get heart drops from - statue-spawned enemies count towards the monster cap, so if you put some random pirahna statues and blue slime statues in the Jungle then you won't get jumped by excessively powerful Moss Hornets
Lemme hit up my fellow mod devs and make the adamantite admiral a real thing... maybe have better abilities for armor sets like ancient hallowed armor being able to summon a gladiator reminiscent of the fallen champion you fight in the marble biome.
The reason Chat GPT did so well with plantera is probably the larger number of people requesting that info on the internet, leading to more sources for Chat GPT.
I know who the skelleton merchant sells stuff to So you know how crawdads and other rare cave enemies drop a yoyo? Yea! He sells them counterweights, and yoyo gloves, so they can have fun while your absent from the caves!
@@metal_pipe9764 yea, but the skeletons dont drop yoyos so that is more unlikely Also why do only dungeon skeletons drop bones? I mean hello? Are underground skeletons made out of plastic or something??
As a summoner, the recommendations for wall of flesh surprised me. Vampire frog staff is the best summon for wall of flesh so it was actually right. You need to target the top eye of the wall of flesh and the frog will jump up and hit every part of the boss. Obsidian also gives a lot of dmg percent boost, even more than spider, and range for your whip. (Spider armor is still far better though)
very rarely when in the outer 1/6th of the world horizontally, above depth zero, during the day, on regular green grass. wiki says "1% chance", presumably per-day
You can get a hellwing bow before any boss, just involves a lot of fishing. You get the golden net from fishing quests and use it to catch hell butterflies, then fish in hell till you get crates with the bow inside.
I know you're not gonna read this, but I love your editing style, and I was wondering, how did you put together the screen at around 7 minutes when you're showing the summoner loadout GPT told you to get?
bro i cant belive you spent this much time on this video, you deserve more than 5 k like for sure. these days a kid that dances can gat milons of likes and people like you that spend time and effort get ignored
I'm sitting at my computer playing Elden Ring, looking at my phone while playing another game, and this video plays in the background. I've played so much Terraria in my life that the WoF scream at 9:26 made me jump, like I was playing Terraria and accidentally summoned it while not looking at my monitor. I have over 5,000 hours in Terraria, and over 1,300 hours in tModLoader.
Okay this is the first video i ever watched from your channel and when i heard the voice i was like "since when does Thoughty2 make terraria gameplay?"
like chatgpt, i too have noticed that most guide information is from like a decade ago and completely outdated and wrong… …maybe some terraria youtubers should think about rectifying that
I wonder why it thought statues would be intimidating. Although it is hilarious to imagine an AI thinking "better suggest statues, to make sure the boss is terrified and off his game"
17:46 haha funny but basically if you are near the ocean biome king slime fan spawn, what a weird coincidence as you were fight lunatic cultist he decided to spawn!
Though summoner may be not as bad as i thought, I still only use melee because it does the most damage and defense and I just do best with it, and besides, you can still use summoning items just if you find them, it doesn't downgrade your class, so I typically go with best melee armor, best sword I can get my hands on, and if it's cheap and decent or if I find it I get a summoning weapon just so it can do more damage
The King Slime spawned during your Lunatic Cultist fight because it has a rare chance to spawn at any time when you are in the outer thirds of your world
tho imagine bosses attacking random criters during a fight , so it would make sense adamantite admiral buff sounds really bad ass and the infinity stones , cool but thanos won't be soo happy about that minishark in ocean biome sounds possible only if it had like a 5% chance instead of that darn trident
- build a houses for npc - start collectiong matterial - making & upgrading weapon and armor - start to beat the boss to unlock the next boss - hold the crimson / corruption enviroment - survive the "suprise" event - beat all boss biome and final boss - work the end game content - repeat in new world... bored already in third repeat and this is a really good game all the fun was first exploration on the first world you create after you finish that world about a week playing you will start a new world and there goes the feeling start to come...
