One of the reasons why you are having so much trouble is your weapons are woefully behind the ones you should be using at this point in the game. Also you should always make sure that your armor is at the current tier for the boss you plan to face.

Accessories too. One of the best accessories in calamity that you can use even until the end of the game is "The Community", dropped by Leviathan. And this is just one example. Also there's better dash options out here. For example "Asgardian shield", which dash is just massive and it can even be upgraded later on too

You can make mana upgrades. Just didn’t know if you knew. Also the calamity wiki isn’t that reliable. The first mana upgrade is crafted with fallen stars and stardust from the astral enemies, not whatever the wiki says. Also just don’t use permafrost concoction if you keep dying from it. If you want a dash use asgard’s valor. If you want damage try the celestial emblem upgrade made from the calamitas clone drops.
