- Work your way through the different tiers of ores. Don't bother with palladium anymore, just mine enough mythril ore for a mythril anvil and pickaxe, use the mythril pickaxe to mine titanium ore to get a titanium furnace and then get full titanium gear. - The metal detector only needs to be in your inventory for it to work, you don't have to actually equip it. - Whenever you see a mimic underground, kill it. They drop extremely good loot.
