@@ashlyncaroline3516 Its not the same. When he jumps he's exerting a force on the floor while the floor a resultant force equivalent to the jump force. In a trampoline he wont because he would be bound by the tension in the trampoline, so he is not in control of the force but rather the trampoline

its genetics mostly, but u can train to jump higher by weight training and technique

If you dont have the Genetics you still can BUT you need a lot of Years focused training to do it

A lot can be improved with the right training. Genetices certainly have an impact on that.

And yes anyone can jump like this if they work for it! You don't get a 40+ inch vertical with just genetics !

because the poeple on the canadian national team are about 10cm taller than him on average which may not seem like alot but that also means that their standing reach is alot higher. Although his spike height is 370cm it is quite rare that a spike height that high is often used in that high level of volleyball as the sets with a height that high allow the opponent to read the hits alot easier and set up better for the block. The longer standing height means it is easier and faster for them to jump up for a block whereas Terrel may need to spend slightly more time to ready his jump to get to the height of the taller players.

Its not the height they can hit the ball(usually 330 max) but the height they reach max by jumping ONLY so u are right about the fact they cant hit the ball at 370

And jump higher

Do different type of squats

Work on your technique while strengthening your body (focus on your posterior chain, quads, glutes, calves and core muscles)
