I just watched this like 10 times; One because TB played for the Cavs and I'm from Cleveland and secondly because that story was so damn good. Jordan is the damn GOAT period!

surprisingly, a guy from Cleveland is unbiased between Jordan and lebron.

sometimes I try to remember top PG'S of the 90s and obviously you have the guys that stood out like Stockton, Payton, penny hardaway, Tim hardaway, mark price. then you had solid PG's that not to many remember like Kevin Johnson, maubery, Kenny Anderson, blaylock, Strickland, avery Johnson but I always forget about Terrell Brandon. I think even nick van axel was one of the top PG's in the 90s.
@davetrachtenberg6855
@davetrachtenberg6855 2 года назад
In my mind, the big three undisputed of that era (1a): Stockton, Kidd, Payton. (1b): Tim Hardaway, Mark Price, Kevin Johnson. (2): Rod Strickland, Terrell Brandon, Sam Cassell. Kidd I include even though he came in later (1994-95) but was 21-22 years old coming in, whereas Marbury ('96 draft) was only 19, so he feels more in the Kobe / Iverson / Nash / T-Mac era for me.

TB was and is better than Conley. TB 2x All Star, recognized by sports illustrated as the best PG in the NBA. So no Conley is not better than TB.

@djtheshooter6748
@djtheshooter6748 5 лет назад
@@toveychow3635 - Like Wilt, Russell is unique. There is no player with his defensive ability today or ever. And no player won 11 rings in 13 years. Had Russell not been injured in 1958, he probably would have 12 titles in 13 years. He missed game 5 of the '58 finals and Boston lost by two points. They win that game had Russell played. So it's impossible for him not to be a Mount Rushmore player.

What? He's alluding Jordan's obsession about winning. 17 grand is pocket change to MJ, but he made it point to let TB know they won more money than the losers. Jordan was always a game within a game. No competitor like him.
