This is one of my all time favorite songs. Loretta and Conway were true legends in their time. I will give Terri Clark and Trace Adkins kudos for a commendable cover of such a great song.
What Very Classic Song , & they Both can Sing Very Beautifully as a Great Duet together !! Thank You Both for singing this Very Extraordinary Song !! Lisa...😉😉
Gosh my heart is melting..... what I would do just to watch a live show.....country & western is the best....the younger version dont compare to these.
As Billboard magasine puts pop dance albums in their country charts like - for example -Keith Urban's "Ripcord" which is not country at all (it is his least country album ever), THIS S IS R-E-A-L COUNTRY MUSIC !
Terri and Trace had to sing this together because all other country ladies are just to short and he would of gotten a sore neck looking down at them that and Terri Clark is just a great singer.
@CanAm85 thats very true, but rock has held most of its roots from the 80's. in my opinion that was it's best era, acdc, def leppard areosmith etc.. not saying that elvis, beatles or jimi don't deserve credit, but rock was at its peak during the 80's, country has changed alot to over the years, some artists remember their roots more than others
I am NOT a Trace Atkins fan. His voice is way to deep to sing solo, or at least that is my opinion. Some people have talent, but they aren't meant to sing alone....this video proves it. Amazing! Love this. They should team up and cut a CD!
They had to drop the key down a few notches for them which diminishes the song. Ok performance, but not great. Hard to beat Conway and Loretta. Another really great and tight performance of this song is by Amber Digby and Justin Trevino. Forget notoriety and just listen. They nail this one.
@PRISSY0020 thats the dumbest thing ive heard in my 22 years of living. her voice isnt even close to lorettas. shes ok but not even close to lorettas level.
