Patty’s voice will always be true to any recording. Her voice always dominates and makes the song. Patty is always top notch. She’s the best, if ya can’t tell👍
So darn good I swear! Their voices were meant to sing together. I could listen to them all day! I wish they would do a duets album of country classics, and of course include my favorite duet by them... “Nobody answers when I call your name”.
Totally agree with you, Patty and Vince are phenomenal singing this particular song together. FANTASTIC SINGING FROM THEM BOTH. ELIZABETH IN SCOTLAND ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Isn't it about time they did an entire album together???????? Nashville may have put them out to pasture, but their fans are STILL here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll help finance it if they are interested.
Honest to God this really happened.! I met Patty while she was touring to put those songs Fallen Angels Fly. I was so excited to meet her. What I told her was my mom died on 7 -27,-96, and her sister died within days and I asked her if she was
Sleepless Nights by Patty Loveless is excellent for anyone looking for something by her in case you may have missed it. It is one of the best albums I've ever bought (in my opinion) as well as Timeless by Martina McBride; last but not least is of course Bakersfield by Vince Gill with Paul Franklin playing steel guitar. LeAnn Rimes also has two albums with cover songs; I think she can sing anything. As I always say, we all have different tastes and likes so for anyone looking for some good traditional country, you might want to give them a listen! I hope someone finds one or more they like. Yes, for the most part, I am old school when it comes to country music. One more, Anthony Wilson, album is titled My Friend the Jukebox, another one I am glad to have found. As for the above video, I think these two always sound good together, period.
This has always been one of my favorite Conway & Loretta songs. I've heard plenty of others sing it, but Patti & Vince really nailed it. This one is getting downloaded right now, so I can listen to it anytime, whether I have cell service or not. Love it!
listen up EVERYBODY. I'm from LA damnit, and I seriously got into the country artists of the late 80's and 90's. 'Timber I'm Falling' with Gill on harmonies still one of my top five best. Loveless rocks it.
justess martin OH YES THEY DO EQUAL THIS. LITERALLY ANY NEW MALE COUNTRY ARTIST IS EQUAL TO VINCE OTHER THAN THOSE JOKES GARY FROM RASCAL FLATS KEITH URBAN JOHN PARTY WHOEVER THE LEAD FROM DAN AND SHAY IS CHRIS SHITPELTON AND TYLER FROM FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE. THOSE ARE THE ONLY MALES FROM NEWER COUNTRY RADIO THAT WILL NEVER EQUAL VINCE BECAUSE THEY SUCK. ANY NEWER MALE COUNTRY ARTIST I DIDN'T NAME DOES EQUAL VINCE. AS FOR FEMALES WELL YOU NAME A COUNTRY FEMALE ON TODAY'S COUNTRY RADIO SHE'S IS GONNA EQUAL PATTY. KELSEA BALLERINI CARRIE UNDERWOOD LAUREN ALAINA MAREN MORRIS MIRANDA (PATTY HAS ACTUALLY SHOWN UP AT A CONCERT I WENT TO OF MIRANDA'S. I WAS FRONT ROW MIDDLE SECTION) ANY FEMALE FROM TODAY'S COUNTRY EQUALS PATTY. SO YOU WERE ABSOLUTELY WRONG WHEN YOU POSTED THAT. SOMEBODY FORGOT TO LISTEN TO NEWER COUNTRY BEFORE POSTING THAT FALSE INFORMATION
The first time I heard Patty was on her song "Can't Stop Myself from Lovin' You". Early 90's. She sounded just like Patsy Cline. I've been hooked ever since. She can imitate all the great female singers, but she has her own sound which I love. Kinda like an old familiar friend singing to me. AND she has stayed true to her country roots !
FANTASTIC singers Pattie @ Vince ..BOTH have wonderful voices. Could listen to them both all day .Thank You BOTH Guys .LOVE ELIZABETH SCOTLAND ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Look! Vince' hair is combed! He's not dressed like a slob! And he even put some twang in his singing? BRAVO, Vince! BRAVO! Patty is always perfection.❤
Michael De Ponte WHO GIVES A CRAP. PATTY IS LITERALLY THE ONLY TALENT IN THE ENTIRE FAMILY. LURETA SOUNDS LIKE A DYING CAT EVERY TIME HER MOUTH OPENS. THEY SOUND NOTHING ALIKE JUST CUZ THEY'RE RELATED
Ivan Warren OH MY GOD NO SHE DOES NOT. NOT EVEN CLOSE. PATTY WILL NEVER SOUND LIKE A DYING CAT AT ALL EVEN IF SHE TRIED. LURETA DON'T NEED TO TRY TO SOUND LIKE A DYING CAT CUZ SOUNDING LIKE THAT COMES NATURAL TO HER. PATTY ACTUALLY SINGS. LURETA HAS BEEN AROUND A HELL OF A LOT LONGER IN THE INDUSTRY THAN PATTY HAS AND LURETA HAS YET TO CLASSIFY AS A SINGER OR A LEGEND FOR THAT MATTER. PATTY IS THE LEGEND. NOT LURETA. PATTY IS THE TALENT. NOT LURETA. PATTY IS THE SINGER. NOT LURETA
These two could sing the want ads and make it sound great. With that said despite the great job they do on this song I still think that Willie and Tracy Nelson had the best version of this particular song!
There is more chemistry between them than Vince has with Amy these days, I worry for those two. Amy seems to click better with Michael W Smith a little like early days with Vince.Amy still looks like the woman Vince married .Vince does not look like the man she married he is grossly over weight I hope he sorts it out I love that guy and I want him and Amy to stay together.
@@tomdunne731 Vince could be the poster boy for aging gracefully. He could be any sixty three year old guy washing his pickup in the driveway. He ain't as thin as he was twenty years ago, but he sure ain't grossly overweight either. He's visibly quite comfortable in his skin.
@@countrygirlcountrymusiclov5831 You on the other hand are wholeheartedly classified as a jealous, classless loser. Close you legs hun, you're stinking up the place. You're probably one of those old skanks who was trying to steal Loretta's man and got your a** beaten.
