Far from dead. Also they announced the new patch few weeks ago, with a lot of changes, they will expending their team as well so a lot of things going on right now. I've read the comments on the announcement, the playerbase is very supportive and positive wich is rare. I think numbers will be increasing most likely, this game is way better & less toxic than any other competitive. Also I don't really know how steam chart messuring the playerbase but that seemed really fake, I'm playing both EU and NA servers and honestly, NA is very crowded. EU is a bit less but in my opinion theres a good average on there too. Keep going, theres a core base wich is much stronger than any other battle royale community.

theres also players that dont play SAR on steam like me a xbox player and also a few PlayStation users so I think if steam doesn't count those we still have a decent amount of players but yes SAR is kinda dying

the situation of SAR remember me to battlelands royale, minimal changes per season and loosing players little by little, i know SAR precisely because of the closure of BLR, and I know that it is taking the same steps for a slow closure, what would benefit it is a facelift like, again for example BLR in its season 7, it changed everything maps, interface, theme, added many unique modes, everything, and from peaks of 800 players we recovered the 1500 from its beginnings for several seasons, until unfortunately, the game stopped innovating, with only 170 players on the last day of season 14, which had its end date removed, and then servers were closed, i really hope I may be wrong but I've already seen this path several times.

Hmm. This is a very big shift in tune from the video several days ago. And I personally blame ScrewTube as their system pretty much mandates a 'be sensational or die' approach to things. Now, one thing that your stats miss is that Super Animal Royale does not exist in a vacuum. Games have been releasing over time totaling in the hundreds, the thousands, the tens of thousands and, depending on where one sets the bar, the hundreds of thousands. Each one of those games vie for attention, and every single player of Super Animal Royale will come to a point where a game just scratches an itch. Their heads will turn to the new thing, indie or AAA alike - and yes, the likelihood of that will increase as they enter further periods of a content drought, but that is very much the reality that we all experience. Of course, the vast majority of those other games aren't Super Animal Royale like - so they don't necessarily scratch 'that' itch - and this is where one of Pixile's opportunities lies. As of writing there really isn't enough information to go on insofar as what is coming next - but the departure from being under the influence of a publisher surely provides more agility and possibilities. So it will be interesting to see what possibilities, actual and virtual alike, come to pass.

Ima be honest, I like the game but the new seasons add minimal things. We didn't even get a new POI last season so I lose interest after playing hours of the same stuff. I wish there were more than 2 LTMs.

In order to day you need to have a pulse to Begin with. SAR never stood a chance since the game wasn't free to play to Begin with Hope this super secret is gonna shake up things enough to get some new faces
