We had a great day out, Mandy joined us and thankfully returned Glenn's beloved @stumpypicks1 - thanks Mandy! The weather did turn sour on us and we got drenched, but we managed to find some gold!! Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy the vid and all the best! Cheers, Ant & Glenn
I'm happy to see you guys going over your old ground with the new machines and finding some more gold as well as other targets. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us
Well done everyone. Looked miserable and wet. Gold makes you a bit warmer at times. Good bits Ant with the 7. Great that you can go and find bits with the 6 no matter the size. Well done. 😁👍
Looks like the new toys are paying off. Some tiny bits and some bigger ones too. Ant you need a scarf or a neck warmer / gaiter especially after being sick. Glad you have a beanie on. That’s a start. Good to see Mandy again. You should present her with one of the mugs.
They sure are Suellen :) They all add up! Haha i should, gets cold out there. But once you start digging you warm up fast. Hope you've been well!! Cheers
I love you two , your the Ant & Deck of the detecting wold lol , love the old time themes & banter nice to see the friends along for the trip too keep it up guys
Great fun watching, Ant, Glenn, Ken and Mandy! There's a trade-off, in the sound through a mike, under cheap waterproof ponchos, and the fog of condensation on the screen and lense of warm hands holding the camera phone... we worry with Glenn's polyester tops and beanie getting sodden, affecting his mood and orientation to the gang and vehicle. But we rather like the bush and hills when in light drizzle or intermittent rain, it keeps the tourists, opportunistic chancers and busybodies away, and only the dedicated and happy gangs giving it a good crack, and having a crack in the process! Lovely pieces, Ant! If I can ask if the settings on your 7000 it will murmur a possible signal of a small piece, as a "small" sound, for the pieces a 6000 would sound a murmur, of the sizes Glenn was getting? The sensitivity to size and the difference in nearing blanking-out threshold, no warble for lead, it sounds mellower, but you're already digging in that case, but the murmurs for a possible target, not a ground noise type murmur, best with headphones or external speaker giving a sensitivity boost to the machine as well as your ears, in wind or rain, the lessons you'd built up with the 5000 you're carrying over to the 6000 and 7000. Best of continued good luck, and good fun! Cheers from Gabi of Narre Warren.
Cheers Gabi!! The sound on the 7 gives a bit of a murmur just running over ground as it's constantly ground balancing. But when you hit a target you know it. Just like the 6 - they are pretty clear. I've been told with headphones you hear better - but then you guys won't be able to hear the targets. it's better viewing if you hear what we hear. But probably better for us if we just use headphones haha
Nearly 2 Gram Is A Great Day Anytime. ✨✨👏. Well Done 👍. Yes Was A Wet One! Persistence Will Pay. Mandy And Ken 🤞✨✨. I Just Witnessed Them Blokes Confessing They Had Missed Them Before. I Actually Do Frequently Too! 😂
Another great day out for you Glenn and Ant on the Gold shame Mandy and Ken didn't score but maybe next time. Great to see you haven't lost your Ozzie humour Glenn, pay to get some thermal ware guys. Take care stay safe Cheers 🥂 😊
Thought you two had stopped videoing but I think it was just RU-vid algorithm not showing me...great to see you both on here again. Keep warm and dry when hunting gold.
We had stopped for a couple of months, but we are back into it now :) hit that 'notifications bell' and you'll get a notification when we upload a video so you won't miss anything :) Cheers and thanks for your support!
Just as well Glen didn't sneeze with that first nugget, would never have found it again. Sitting on the lounge by the fire watching you lads and ladies slog it out in the rain and mud just for my entertainment, i just really have to thank you lads for the video. 😄 So thank you. I do appreciate it, and may the next nugget be too big to fit in Glen's beanie. Keep well and Cheers
haha so true Garry!! sounds like the perfect night in by the fire. Terrible wintery weather we have at the moment. Glad you enjoyed the vid!! Cheers and all the best
A nice collection on the scales, worth getting wet for, as long as you don't get crook, a good days detecting, and good sized gold to boot! Well done, Cheers Ant, Cheers Glen and Cheers to your guests! Hooroo!
yeah definitely Wayne, never a bad day out on the gold - even in the rain we had a lot of fun and some colour to show for it. That's it, as long as it doesn't make you sick!! Cheers
be careful with black rock, if its not magnetic it could be gold in it, we found a jet black hard rock with gold.. also around dunolly there is 2 small containers with gold in them that was dropped out of pockets..
Well.. I make it a Must..!! That if you have a detecting partner… Communication Radios are paramount..!! Can’t count..how many times one has an accident.and the same excuse is said all THE TIME..!!! I will just be within 40 to 50 meters away..! You are responsible for each other when out in the goldfields or bush walking.. Carry a UHF and whistle and personal beacon.. as accidents happen EVERY DAY.. Cheers Famo59 👍⛏️🍻
I agree Tony. I always tell Glenn, let's get the radios and usually he replise "i won't be far away, no need". We do have UHF's. He's a hard man to convince ha. Stay safe out there. Cheers, Ant & Glenn
The trouble with the 6000 is that you stop on so many signals that generally less ground is covered. Where the 7000 will miss a lot of targets the 6000 hears. You cover more ground and when a signal does turn up. It's generally more solid whether it be junk or gold. I've seen this happen quite often. More signals with the 6000. And less targets with the 7000. But less was more if you get what I'm saying.. Great video 👍
Hi Tamara - it's spelt "jedziemy dalej" in Polish. But Glenn has made it his own and Jebedali is a common spelling amongst our viewers :) We saw the video today and love it. Thank you so much for taking the time to make it, it's awesome. I sent it to Glenn and he called me right away!! Great stuff. Would you be ok for us to use it in one of our upcoming vids? Give it a bit of a shoutout? Cheers
Hi Sue, we still have them and bring em every time we go out. Glenn has a habbit of saying "na we don't need them, we'll be close by" and to his credit we usually are. Only if i know we are going to be doing a lot of walking i make him take them!! But once in a while, Glenn likes to stray.
Hi there, in Polish it means literally "let's keep going" - but Glenn has coined it in his own way and we say it when we have a good find. In Polish it's spelt "jedziemy dalej" and it started when i was in Poland, detecting with a mate and we would say it after a find and the context was "onto the next one". Cheers!
Hi guys love the channel been watching for a long time have been away but now all caught up and I see you have upgraded your detectors any chance you would be selling a 5000 as I was going to buy a second hand 1 then I watched the episode where you showed the fake 5000 now I am worried I may get scamed cheers
Hi Carmel, thanks so much - great to hear you love our channel :) Might consider selling my 5000 one day, i'll let you know if i end up selling it. Definitely be on the look out for fakes, there are lots out there!! Cheers and all the best
