The most rewarding thing about rescuing a dog is watching them flourish with Love and trust 💕

The Dodo is actually helping me getting out of a depression. Thank you.

Kind of reminds me of our dog Wilbur. He was abused and rescued (police involved). Broken leg, stab wound to the hip, and a hernia due to blunt force drama to the abdomen. That's all we could figure out about his past thanks to the vet who examined him. Where ever he was, there must have been some young children who showed him kindness. He's afraid of adults, but always gets excited when he sees a child and wants to play with them. When dad brought him home, Wilbur cowered and tried his best to hide from all of us for at least half an hour to an hour. He was stuck to dad like glue and was afraid he was going to be hurt again. Over time, he realized he was in a good home and was given lots of love. Dad spent his retirement years with Wilbur. They went on rides together, watched TV together, etc. But in December, we lost Dad to covid complications. Wilbur was mom's rock through the entire ordeal. Years of love returned tenfold as Wilbur was inseparable from mom. It's no exaggeration when people say that dogs are a blessing upon humans.

Tobi loves you, it's so obvious. And clara played a major role in teaching tobi how to be a dog again. What a lovely story. Warms my heart.

I don't know what poor Tobi had endured before he came to this rescue, but it had to have been extremely traumatic, something that no animal shouldn't ever experience 😢. I'm so glad that people like this exist to save poor defenseless animal's. After all, all they really crave is love, feeling safe, and knowing that they never need to be afraid ever again. I rescued a Collie and she was just terrified of EVERYTHING. She was abused and forced to breed and got extremely sick so they dumped her on the streets. She looked sad when I got her like you could tell by her eyes she was saying “Don’t hurt me please” Now she is happy ( except for some health issues)and such a little explorer and is very spoiled to say the least.

I couldn't imagine life without him.... Nothing more needs to be said.

You can tell by his face that he wants to trust, it's these stories that touch my heart the most, good luck bud we all love you.

I bought a ten month old pup three weeks ago she was terrified and I knew I couldn't leave her. With a lot of love and patience bit by bit she is showing more of her personality and is growing in confidence. We have a way to go but she is doing great. She is such a sweet girl who has stolen my heart.

Thank you picking up the dog and carrying him to the play area. I'm probably projecting but I felt that he needed that physical connection. I think it made a difference and was so much kinder than pulling him along for the first little bit. I am so sorry for whatever challenges he had to face before being rescued and am so grateful he doesn't have to face them any longer. He's finally home now.

Fostered a dog like this. Ended up fostering her for about a decade. She never did get over it and only ever felt comfortable around us.

Dogs are the most wonderful, loyal, unconditional love, and all they want Is to be loved and to be a companion to someone. How anyone - any MONSTER can torture a dog or any animal is beyond me. I cry when I see videos like this because an animal is helpless in a bad situation. I'm so glad we have guardian angels around the world who rescue these poor souls.

This is how I feel about my rescue. When he first was brought home the first few years were difficult. He began to realize I just plain old loved him, He is now so gentle and loving to all who meet him. People come up to him to pet him!!!

I'm from the Navajo reservation and it's sad to see these puppies with a broken spirit. A puppy is a symbol of innocence and happiness. Animals cannot speak up for themselves, they have no voice. How dare someone tries to break their spirit, just because they can get away with it. Toby is very fortunate to have an active owner because Toby needed to feel his freedom again, he needed to run his little legs to restore his spirit. Im now 60 and grew up rescuing animals. My kids now help and rescue animals. Right now I have the sweetest lab pug mix and hes so grateful like so many other rescues getting a loving home and a 2nd chance. All they want is to love and be loved..Priceless..

Rescuing a rescued dog and giving this dog another chance and a forever home is truly amazing both for the dog and the new owner. I rescued a 2 year old female German shepherd Easter last year and with patience, kindness and love we now have an unbreakable bond.

It's so amazing how animals could change their behaviour when they feel save and loved. This sweetheart is on the sunny side now 😍😍😍 Our dog Marley was found at a dumpster in Greece and he was anxious and very shy covered with scars cause the workers threw rocks on all that stray dogs... In the beginning he don't dare anything and cuddling was to much for him... Today he want to cuddle the whole day, he loves people and life and his physical and psychical wounds healed and he is a real happy and funny and playful love bug 😍😘😍
