Black bear hunting in Manitoba. Black bear hunting is fun and exciting but in this hunt we experience fear as well. When baiting for black bears, you go in thinking you'll run into some nice bear's.. but there was nothing nice about this momma bear. Half her mouth was gone, she made horrifying sounds and on top of that she was aggressive. Put all those things together and you got a scary bear.
We start our hunt in southeast Manitoba. The population of black bears in the province is very high. Locating black bear isn't hard but looking for the right bear can take time. We bait and sit many times before seeing the right black bear to harvest however we see some interesting bears along the way. Richard is using his 3030 lever action for this hunt.
