TERRO Ant Bait Traps Killer Liquid and Granules Review | How to Use, Does it work, Application 

Terro is awesome. Quick recommendation: put tape on the wall/ counter, and then put the Terro liquid on the tape, that way you are not putting poison on your kitchen counter. After the ants are done, just peel off the tape and throw to the trash. Easy and clean. I use blue tape to see better where I left the Terro drops ✌🏼

The liquid ant bait definitely works on carpenter ants. It helps to make sure the opening is nice and wide for them to get in and out. We had carpenter ants destroying our brand new, $70,000 camper. They were going back and forth between the camper and a huge tree about 15 feet away. I put a couple of baits at the base of the tree and a couple at the steps of the camper. They found the bait, ate it up, and brought it back to the colony. It only took less than 48 hours and there is not a single carpenter ant to be found. This stuff is incredible!

One night I saw an army of small sugar ants in my computer room. They were coming from outside. My house is on a slab and they were traveling all along the baseboards. Went to Home Depot and bought 2 pkgs of Terro liquid ant bait. Looked like thousands of tiny ants all around the room. I haven't seen an ant since the day the bait traps went down. Terro was fast and easy - in only 1 day!!

I used the traps and it killed a bunch of ants but there's an infinite supply of those things out there. It didn't appear that anything was being transported back to the nest. Your kids were great. I had to give you a thumbs up which is something I usually ignore.

cool thank you did not know Terro made products for outside. Just purchased Terro 4 days ago because of carpenter ants.

Thank you for the tip to leave some of the liquid outside to bring them to the trap, it wouldnt have worked that fast without this trick...24 hours later 99% ants are gone, 48 hours 0 ants

Thanks I've been watching your tutorials and used the liquid bait and thought it did the trick but saw some new ones even though I have seen many dead ants as well as bait full of them. So I've gone out and purchased and replaced some more liquid bait traps and also bought the granules and will apply that tonight. I will also inspect areas of dead rotting wood around the house. I am freaked by some reports online of people discovering lots of damage to their house! If this doesn't work, I am considering calling in an exterminator but I am willing to give this a solid go before I do. Thanks again for your support here!

Thanks so much we just moved into this trailer and everyone knows or at least where I live trailers will always have them but here it's like bad I found 2 bait packages left by previous owners and tried it and am amazed, I'll deff be watching more cause I wanna get them carpenter ants too! There were a ton of ants in the kitchen corner this morning and I put the Terro baits down and they all disappeared but they're not in the trap. I hope they come back out and go in the trap

Used all 6 that came in the box. Waited. Waited. Then waited some more. They are still around, just 10 fold now... Going on week 4. Does season matter?

The ant bait traps worked for me last year in my camper trailer at an RV park I was staying at. Worked within 2 days that time and they never came back. But now ants are getting in my house, and I've been setting these out as directed for an entire full month. A bunch wind up dying in the traps but it never stops the colony completely and they just keep coming back. There may be multiple colonies, but I thought this should have worked by now if that's the case. These ants are SO freaking annoying! I can't keep a garbage can/bucket inside without it getting absolutely infested. I have to seal all garbage up so they can't smell it, or however they find it. I actually am fascinated by all types of insects/bugs and enjoy observing insects out in nature, but definitely don't want them crawling everywhere in my house.

I put out this stuff in a room where a wooden spoon with cooked brown rice residue laying on a table for an hour or two had about 6-8 tiny ants crawling over it. I opened a fresh one as above and left if on a corner of the same table, even spreading some out of the vial......two weeks later...NOTHING! Not a single ant. Please explain how this could be. This stuff showed no signs of working.

I wouldn't spill it out. Instructions don't say to do so. Plus it could cause stickiness or damage to surfaces. Supposedly it could take a few days to eliminate ants. Currently I'm using two baits I bought last night. The key is to destroy the pack leader of the colony namely the Queen. Or else they will continue to multiply.

Trap Trap Trap,, Why are you saying this? its not a trap, its a bait station, they come get the bait and take it back to their colony.

Good review but I must comment on the product - About the liquid in the packets - the design of this package is absolutely stupid. The top is supposed to "snap off" - well, it takes a whole lot of bending and twisting for it to finally break off - the seams of one packet were broken in the process, so it was a throwaway. On another packet when the top finally "broke" off the opening was pinched shut and it had to be opened with a toothpick - only because I noticed that it was pinched shut. Ignore the instructions and just cut the top off with scissors at the neck. Here's hoping that the product is better than the idiot package. I'm thinking that I wasted money on this.
