Reminds me a lot of the Haunted Barrel Works at Centre Island in Toronto, Canada. That ride used to terrify me as a little kid and I still remember it fondly. This one even has the falling barrels that gave the Haunted Barrel Works its name! Very cool ride.
When I was like six my dad took me on this but I closed my eyes for the whole thing and when I watch this eight years later I realise it looks really shit
It’s gone down hill drastically with hardly any effects working however this is what it used to be like - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pUXAP0jTGEI.html
Nice video, but man, this ride is really a hollow shell of what it used to be. I rember back when the park was owned by different people, this ride had its effects working pretty much every time, and was changed every so often. It seems whoever owns the park now is kind of just leaving the ride to slowly break down and stop working
Yes I agree, the park used to be owned by Richard Cadell (the sooty guy) and he was obsessed with ghost trains so you can see why it was a good one! He also made sure all the fx were in good shape most of the time and made small changes and updates. The park was then sold to a new owner. They do still care about the ride as they do try and fix effects and they have refurbished the facade but with the effects inside now around 21 years old you can probably imagine there coming to the end of there life.
@@beetlefly9718 nah i spoke to the guy when i was working there 2 weeks ago he said wipeout needs new bearings. ps. i am the worker at the start, on the buttons lmao. promise i wasn't as miserable as i looked hahah
Man this ride looks absolutely boring now lol. I remember seeing videos of this ride back in early 2007 and 2012, and this shit was terrifying! I'm not sure what happened from there, but this ride just doesn't look scary anymore :(
More than one actually! One of them is in the episode when sooty makes a silent film. & the other is actually a whole episode based on opening the ‘new ghost train’ where the ‘mayor’ (Ann widcombe) can be seen riding it
Voll billig! Aber DAS hier - no-go! 🙁
