Fun fact: The robotic-like female voice reading the safety instructions is Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart, Maggie, Nelson, Ralph, Todd, Kearney, and Database on The Simpsons
I went on this ride 8 years ago and still remember like it was yesterday me and my family thought it was a real roller coaster, we were fighting to not sit in the front. Freaked out when the cart started going up LOL
My mom had never been to Universal and when the lap bar came down, I told her that the doors that say "Here it comes" actually open and it was a huge drop. She clung onto my arm so hard that I thought she would break it 🤣. Then we started going up and she freaked out even more but she loved it.
Omg that's the same with me, I went on it in 2013 and while in the line I got scared because I thought it was a real rollercoaster so I made my Dad get out of the line with me, then my family convinced me it wasn't a real coaster so I got back in line and loved the ride (luckily there was like no queue that day)
Okay, it sounds stupid but I find it pretty cool how they get the real voice actors and animators to draw and voice it all for each ride. And not just for the Simpsons, like Harry Potter, Men in Black, etc. :D
It’s been nearly ten years since I first rode on the ride with my family, and it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life, not only the ride in general, but also the gift shops, and the restaurants, especially their donuts!
Not going to lie, thought we were gonna die on this ride once Homer fell off the roller coaster The food at the Simpson restaurant is really good though!
Great ride, admittedly was way better the first time I rode, as a child, like ten years ago. Lol. But I'm sure it would be amazing to today's children too. Still enjoyable for me too.
I was there for horror nights and got on all the rides as well after years of not being there. It definitely has more immersion when you’re a kid. Don’t plan on going there until I have kids of my own
I remember going to Universal for the first time when I was younger and I was able to ride this on day two after it opened, and it was amazing. Also 4d was somewhat new so having that made it 1000x better
I remember meeting a girl here with my cousin and a friend. It was probably one night I’ll never forget. Just the vibes of it all honestly completed me.
@@nabilabsood6967 yes I've been watching since it first aired...also used to get a kick out of the shorts on the Tracy Ulman Show ...my fave ..Simpsons fan here💖💖💖😊
Anyone else noticed that this ride has the same motion patterns from BACK TO THE FUTURE? Yup! The same just with new The Simpsons footage. Maggie grabbing the tourists is basically the T. Rex grabbing the Delorean.
I went on this ride for my 11th birthday on Thursday. Yes, it was my first time because I did not like rides when I was little. It was a really fun ride.
@@Steamboatphilly oh I thought this was at universal studios in Florida because for birthday I’m going to Disney for a week but sadly it’s not there and to see the show is the Simpsons
I didn’t know who the Simpsons were until I went in this ride.....I didn’t know who Itchy and Scartchy were, I knew the Simpson’s, but not Crusty or Sideshow. You can imagine how hard my heart was pounding when they Said there was a serial killer in the loose. After getting in this ride twic, and winning Maggie at a stand, I became A Simpson fan so quick! This ride is much better with the cart shaking
@@RichyJFilms lol ok 1st. well I’m not even 20 I haven’t been on Earth for twenty years so you can just shut up cause no one asked you 2nd. Really tho who asked??? Anybody? No. 3rd. The creator liked this comment so they obviously don’t have a problem with it 4th. Imma spell KRUSTY the way I want too unless this is a ELA test 5. Idc if I watch one episode of simpsons I can and I AM a Simpsons fan, you don’t know my life I’m on season 20 of the Simpsons I probably know more characters than you do, and that is not my first Simpsons ride 6. So you can take you and your little snotty comments somewhere else cause I ain’t the one
This ride was so much fun!! I really wish my family enjoyed going to Universal Studios, I am lucky to have even been there a few times and it was because other people wanted to go
I went to universal studios orlando on my school field trip. I just wanna go back and start those days back! I'll never forget those days & i miss 2023
This ride likes to throw a lot of curveballs at you but the one I couldn't prepare for was the very end. Despite what it shows on the ride, your picture does not actually get taken until the very end when you are back in the room with the cart and the ride is over. Krusty will pop out of nowhere with a camera, take your pic and then just laugh. Me and my family found that part hilarious.
I remember going on this ride as a kid, and i was traumatized because i thought the robot bear was a reference to Freddy Fazbear, also i love how they referenced Pirates of the Caribbean.
I love this ride but my wife only tolerates it. She gets sicker on this ride than the regular rollercoasters. The baby powder smell and the fall to the gift shop at the end are always great.
I remember when the ride first came..it was awesome, still is..I was a teen around that time but I'm adult now. I really want my kids to experience this and why they should love being a kid.
When I went on the ride with my family I was terrified I cried in the lobby, and when the robotic female voice came on I cried so hard I couldn’t feel my eyebrows, I cried so hard on the ride but it was fun my dad freaked out when we were getting brung up, love to watch this every once in a while to see what I was scared of
I'm glad he did!! Other bloggers wouldn't record and said the ride is to crude & terrifying for kids. After seeing this, I don't think it's that bad. And it gives me a chance to properly prepare my kids & let remind them it's all pretend. We are going in 5wks!! Really excited!!
I remember riding this when i was little it was so funnnn, my fav part is at 5:52 because they make it smell like baby powder when we go in Maggie’s mouth
Spoiler alert : The coaster is just a virtual one. You see the visuals on a cleverly hidden 360 video screen. You just ride in a cart that doesn’t move forward or backwards. But it rumbles and shakes and rotate to the said experience video 360 around you. Along with wind 💨 from unknown fans or something and life like sounds . You also get hit by Maggie’s spit.
I loved this ride it was super fun but I had to look up the whole ride which tired my neck lol😭 but other than that it was super cool and fun I recommend going on it if you haven’t yet!
I went on this ride when I was younger with my mom cause we were traveling from South Korea to our house but we stopped by Hollywood on the way and stayed there for a day and we went to universal studio This was our 2nd ride we went on I believe
When I went to Universal Studios I remember the last ride we went to me and my mother my grandma and my sister all went to the Simpsons ride like for real I’m not lying😊
mind if i ask what day of the week it was when you went ? me and my friends are trying to figure out if we should get the express pass but we’re going in a tuesday so i don’t how busy it would be 😭
