Terry Fox, Anything’s Possible 

I was sick the day of my schools terry fox run, and I couldn't come. as most kids do when they're at home, I turned on my PS4 and hopped on to GTA online. But when I loaded in to a session, i got an idea. I went to game chat, and told the whole lobby to come join me in an in game terry fox run. As an introvert, It's kind of scary to talk to randoms but I manned up and did it. My idea was to run across the entire map with a bunch of players. I started at the docks, near the nightclub, and started running. surprisingly, around the Ammunation by the factories, people started joining me. more and more people kept joining till we had 21 people on the highway by the casino. by then I lost my shyness and was laughing and crying with most of the lobby. two hours later, I'm back where I started. at the nightclub. we had 19 people at the end of the run. It was the most beautiful moment of my gaming career. :)

Anytime I've felt like it was too hard these past 30 years I just remember Terry and I keep going.

Since graduation from school I hardly ever hear about Terry Fox anymore, but I still think about this legend from time to time. Inspirational.

It's like he never died. We mention his name every day. It's surreal. We have this perfect image of Terry in all of our minds. Everyone sees it, and it will never change. His curls, his beautiful smile, his stoic brow and his heroic resolution. Thank you, Terry. You made a difference, and today my niece is fighting for a second heart , and because she had cancer Ewing's Cancer at the age of 19, and it affected her heart, and she had her first heart transplant and survived for over 20, or 22 yrs. after. She was our miracle girl. and now today, she's still fighting for another heart . She's too young to go, and she has two children, and two grandchildren, and a loving husband. My school raised more than 10000 dollars for cancer research during the terry fox run and was one of the top 10 in Canada!!! We only have around 600 kids too

I’m a Mexican kid who is from and grew up in California and was born in 1976. I remember hearing about Terry Fox when I was a kid because my dad was a runner and he loved Terry’s courage. I had surgery this February on my ankle for leiomyosarcoma. My doctors said I would never be able to run again. Well, I just came back from a 10 minute run and I plan to sign up for the local marathon next year. 👍

My child's school encourages its students to participate every year in a Terry Fox run. It is an official thing with funds going to a local well-known cancer hospital. The hospital provides treatment to people at a subsidised cost, so it is pretty stretched. Till date, I had only heard about but never watched any videos of Terry... And this was just incredible. What a beautiful and tremendous resolve. This. This is what I call Legacy. The statue and its significance is a wonderful, wonderful gesture. - Respect from India

In September every school runs and we do that here at my school and we run it’s not easy doing that every year running they won’t let us even walk for a minute but I know he walked for so long and his best friend was behind him like wow what a great friend. Terry is the best like he finds out he has cancer and does not try to go to the hospital everyday he goes and walks almost around Canada. And ten thousand dollars he deserves that money he deserves to be alive. At least he is happy about what he did and so am I and everybody else❤️❤️great job terry😄👍
