A lot of things were unclear leading up to the fight between Jose Ramirez and Tim Anderson, and Terry Francona explains what happened from his point of view.
Ooooh. Slow down Debbie. Like that Cleveland Legend stuff actually means anything. I couldn't wait to get so far away for so long from all the shameful losing and the entire loserville persona, continuous Mistake-by-the-Lake references, etc.
@@iamjp1exactly and it was incredible it hyped me up so much and I’m a huge mma fan and I’ve seen some incredible mma fights but that shot by Jose which was lucky to af but I’m all for it was better than a lot of mma fights and I became such a huge fan of him from that
I'M so happy🎉 I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever, hoping to retire next year... Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life.
I checked out Mrs Jeffrey_kathryn trading service going ahead and I registered with her company , that was four months ago and now I never regret trusting her. First started small but with the outcome I got, I decided to put more and it's been amazing
Many don't know that that call was a tribute to an announcer that called the George Foreman vs Ray Frazier fight; check it out on RU-vid. "Down goes Frazier; Down goes Frazier!" is a common thing to say when someone gets hit and falls. Someone said that to me when I accidentally hit my head on a low beam in a basement and fell.
@@andreleverettejr3747 If he had said the word "boy" a different way in a different context, then people would have something to say about it. But, the saying, "Boys will be boys" has always been known not to have racial undertones, especially when used to make fun of male children or young men and their tendencies to make reckless or daring choices. It certainly was a stab though, not at a race, but at a sex. Ironic thing is, if this had been a women's sport and a male coach commented, "...women..." in a condescending tone, he'd be severely raked over the coals if not fired.
Well maybe mo either otherwise basically ignored places will get sone visitors, cause God knows no one else stuck living here would otherwise want to visit our deteriorating, delapitated rust-belt city of Cleveland.
Tito is great! He loved hammy s call, so he enjoyed seeing anderson laid out. Jose sticking up for rocchio , arias and the other young guys. Way to go , jose. My love for you is greater than ever and i didnt think it was possible
In short time, within next week yrs. they'll both be holding hands 6 ft. under. Went continue to live in miserable, deplorable, America's eyesore, Cleveland. It's not like they're going to miss any deep October baseball or any WS championship pre or postgame interviews!! The Mistake-By-The-Lake EXISTS!! IT'S FOR REAL!!
@@kevinl3875Tim Anderson was being a crybaby about the whole situation and when Donaldson tried squashing the beef Anderson took more offense he’s a clown and everyone knows it this isn’t the first time he’s been in the mix of things
Man this makes me respect Bautista's chin. Odors shot was completely unexpected and was twice as hard as Jose's but didn't even buckle him. And Ramirez still shattered Tim's jaw and put him down like Tim was a washed up punch drunk Boxer lolol
Let's enjoy him while he's here cause like everyone else worthwhile when his contract is 1 yr. from expiring our small market, broke team just like our Cavs & our expansion team Browns will trade him to an actual WS contender with deeper pockets and the process repeats itself for us, or championship-less, century-approaching drought gets longer & longer. Cleveland, like Pittsburgh are just MLB's elite triple- A farm team. Heck, even K.C. & Marlins occasionally get to and/or win a WS. But not us. We are truly what everyone else says about us, Cleveland is indeed the, a "Mistake-By-The-Lake"!!
@@manuelnarvaez958 look up his contract; if I recall correctly, he's in for the long haul; can't be traded and is in until 2028, or at least that's what wikipedia said. I think the article said he's the highest paid in franchise history too.
@@siriusblack7714 the only channel most of the state can watch the guardians and the Cavs 0n is Ballys...Ohio isn't the only one..Rockies are the same. Once Ballys goes the only team I can watch is the Browns...lucky me 😂 My dad hasn't been able to watch either for a year...dish
@@Nite2012MareBally's just has the contract to the guardians games once they no longer have it then NBC sports or someone will pick up the contact and play every game live on TV
My favorite baseball player to watch is Jose Ramirez! Been watching him since he came into the league even though I’m a Mets fan and from NYC. Bought a ticket to watch him play against the Yankees in early May. Yankees won so I was depressed for a week. Anyway Jose showed he can definitely throw a punch; just happy no one got seriously hurt because in NYC lots of guys have been killed in bar fights when the guys head slams into the sidewalk or street. All it takes is one clean punch to the head like Jose’s to Tim Anderson and Anderson could have been killed or seriously injured. Then Jose’s career would be over and that would stink because I love watching him play ball!
Francona is 64 years old, has missed time because of his heart condition and dizziness, is out of shape and has a pacemaker. You really think he should be throwing haymakers in the middle of a fray with 20 and 30 year olds?
@@diannearchibald1596 Well said. I wouldn't be surprised if he had the record for most surgeries/operations/procedures of a Major League Baseball employee. Some articles say 45 total. Others say three in four days. Physically fighting is not recommended if you ask me.
Ramirez says Anderson was tagging "too hard" and could "injure" someone. That's why he started it? He's afraid Anderson may "injure" him by tagging him?
I want to start out by saying competitive play-off type series's are competitive sometimes there are gonna be words exchanged but I think when it comes to Tim Anderson he has had the background of talking "shit" towards other players around the league I think he believes he might be better than others & sometimes that is shown on the field like he did to Ramirez. He shouldn't have stood over Ramirez & then like give him that stare. Ramirez took offense to that no doubt but he shouldn't affect his team by Throwing Punches at Anderson. if Anderson wanted to Escalate it to Violence then he would be in trouble but now both guys have affected their teams by doing something as stupid as throwing punches.
Tim Anderson literally wanted to fight JD because he said hi Jackie. Tim Anderson has repeatedly pushed cursed and instigated his opponents. Like J ram said, Tim A. Has been doing this for years now...
It figures, another irrelevant fan of another mediocre team in the weakest division in all of baseball and for some time now. Just playing for the right to get swept, 3 & out by whoever in October. Another fan stuck, unable, to poor to get out of similar small-market, irrelevant city in Minnesota like deteriorated, deteriorated, decomposing, delapitated Mistake-by-the-Lake Cleveland. Of course you be a fan of the one-legged, soon-to-croak Tito who couldn't take the pressure in Boston so chose to cowardly take the easy path back into coaching by becoming the big fish in a small pond rather to competing to be a big fish in a big in a lake. Worthless, valueless, anonymous losers from equally small, irrelevant small-market towns do tend to "slither" together..... incest-inbreds like yourself just confirm, solidify that!
Everybody has a point of view, Terry. Tell me this... were all the participant's drug tested? Why not? Afraid that if they were many, if not most, would be benched?
Finally the fans get what they pay for because MLB HR DERBY is all what baseballs about these days…SMALLBALL is gone and working for a run the hard way is done with so yes players and coaches are LAZY overpaid madonnas.
Still dont see what anderson did wrong. ramirez is butthurt and wanted any reason to start a fight. Classic play by the manager to back your player up and ignore when your player has done wrong and take no accountability. This fight was stupid on both players. Both anderson and ramirez are to blame. But ramirez initiated it. No way to dispute that
@@jimwerther ive seen dirty plays. The slide and the tag were both clean. Ramirez wanted somethin to bitch about. So what he held a tag for an extra sec? Whos gettin hurt? Like i said Ramirez was waitin for an opportunity and was lookin for trouble when trouble wasnt near
@@duhitsspeedy12 ive seen it many times and see the same thing. My opinion stays the same and will remain the same. Not a dirty tag or slide. Ramirez was lookin for trouble when trouble wasnt there
@@kingjacksecond Either you started following baseball three days ago, or else you are a White Sox fan who doesn't want to hear the truth. Because everyone knows that this wasn't about that one play, but about Anderson's career, with focus on a play that happened earlier in the series. And even if you somehow _didn't_ know that, saying that Ramirez was looking for a fight and Anderson wasn't is really, really dumb. We all know who started it.
Jose will be fine. But I’ll be livid if Anderson doesn’t get suspended. He had to be literally carried off the field because he came back out after going to the dugout.
Baseball is a boring racist sport. Full of people from a small town, translators needed. Owners recruit foreign players who can’t speak English, when they have the best athletes in the world right here in America. The only problem they are Black Americans and Black Americans aren’t wanted in baseball. Job had corporate tickets, went to the game, the racism was sickening, left after first inning. Baseball lest popular sport in America and fading
That was Men fighting Black against Mexican because they don't like each other. They didn't have guns. Tim lost this round. Get along Blacks and Mexicans.
Ramirez aggressive behavior cost his team the game. Not to mention he got hammered 3 times in the head. Hopefully he learns his lesson otherwise he should be suspended for the rest of the season.
Ahhh be quite tim got humbled now he will think twice before trying to bully someone else . Things happen for a reason . Let this be a lesson for all players that think talking too much sht is beneficial . Wrongggggg
