I could watch these 2 greats talk about the sport of pro wrestling forever . I for one miss that time in wrestling. Rip to the man " Handsome " Harley Race.
I'm liking and downloading this, for no other reason than they were the giants in my early days of being a fan(even if they were fighting Dusty, one of my heroes) and for the match they had here in Houston that I caught live back in '77 for the World Title, fought with such fury it left you breathless, and served its' purpose in making me a fan at age 8. R.I.P. Harley and stay well,Terry.
Something about seeing Harley Race properly belly laughing warms me😂. Harley race being the renowned tough man he was, you wouldn’t expect something that childish to half send him.
Pro wrestling will never be the force it once was with today's so called entertainment. As a fan, yes, it was refreshing to see guys getting in the ring and doing impressive spots but now that's all you have. You have people in the ring looking as though it is a dance routine competition. Pro wrestling needs characters that build over time. Where are the Terry Funks, the Harley Races, the Ric Flairs, the Stings, The Shieks, the Adbullah the Butchers, the Bruiser Brodys, The Ivan Koloffs? I could go on and on. All of these I mentioned have similar characteristics and yet all were very unique. The business needs characters that transcend. It is so vanilla today that I can't watch it. Just my opinion.
WWE has to die before wrestling can recover . As it stands now wrestling fans do not like wrestling . They have no idea what wrestling is supposed to be . So if you open up a wrestling company that honors wrestling it will fail beecause its to plausible and not superheroes come to life .
I miss the gold old days of the NWA. Those were the best years back in 1985-1986. Now a days, it's plain lame and stupid. I haven't watched WWE since Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit passed away.
I honestly never heard him calmly talk about anything. I've always seen him doing promos or screaming at his enemies. He's an intelligent guy and I also never realized how soft spoken ole Harley was in real life, atleast in serious interviews out of the ring.
