Truly devasted 💔about the passing of a pure genius a man who crossed over many borders in the music industry with his music and production. He took the Happy Mondays on tour in 84/85 and got them noticed...he did that with many bands. He was a beautiful soul and I'm crying as I write this...this is so pure and perfect. Thank you Terry Hall for your music and presence...Rest In Peace..One ❤️
In the past, I don't know much about Terry......Now, I have realized, what a very great singer/ songwriter, interesting private person, he was!!!!!!! Amazing and unforgettable for me (my age is 64!!) Ones again: Terry, rest absolutely in peace!!!!!! You and your perfomance will never, never forget.......Thank you for eyerthing you made!!!!
He's been in my D.N.N sice I was nine. Loved everything he's done. Take care walking up those steps to heaven mate, your music will be with us forever. What a voice xx
I saw the wonderful Terry hall at rock city , roughly 1983 in Nottingham fronting the fun boy three! I remember him coming on stage saying “ you are going to get our fucking best “ & we did his stage presence was something else.
A 1of there was and never will be any1 like Terry Hall a sad day for ska. Music. And humanity . as he said I find smiling unnecessary I'm sure we have all felt and understood that at some point in our lives 😔
Terry. You are with us forever and we will always be with you, from this world to the next. Absolute down to earth icon. We all love you and forever will and your impact is timeless. ❤️
This is the second time I have heard Terry Hall cover an epic song. His cover of Talking Heads Psycho Killer was outstanding and this version of Sorrow.....dare I say it , is better than the original.
That is Ian Brodie isn't it!?! If it is and I'm pretty sure it is, its amazing just how many people he's worked with! This is such a fantastic thing for the almighty algorithm to bring up for me. I didn't know Terry Hall had covered Sorrow, it's one of my favourite Songs that Bowie covered and I love hearing others cover it too. Thanks for uploading
These are not original songs from Terry, but the Merseys, the Lightning seeds...!!!!!!! But very interesting interpretetet!!!!!!! Love them and Terry very much!!!!!!! And now....he is gone!!
I totally get it...Terry was depressed, gloomy but I only wish he would have shown a bit more enthusiasm on stage. I guess that was his nature. RIP Terry.
